Chapman Jr. PROLOGUE: It has been three years since the Incident on Veridian 3 where the USS Enterprise D crashed and Captain James T. Kirk died. It has been two years since Starfleet discovered a lost sister race of humanity from the gamma quadrant on board a rag tag fleet led by the Battlestar Galactica and the Battlestar Pegasus. It has been one year since Starfleet and the Battlestars destroyed the cylon empire. The Crew of the Enterprise-D has been reassigned to different ships and dutys. Captain Jean-luc Picard was given command of Starfleet academy and promoted to Admiral. Commander Riker was given a command of his own on board the USS Titan a experimental starship and promoted to Captain. The Treaty of Algeron which prevented Starfleet from developing a cloaking device was declared null and void when the Klingon empire conquered the Romulan Empire. Peace was finally achieved in the Alpha Quadran when Bajor who had conquered Cardassia joined the Federation and the Klingon Empire joined forces with the Federation to destroy the Borg once and for all. A new treaty was signed by Gowron and the Federation. Or at least they thought they had achieved peace.... "Thank you, did they say what it was regarding?"inquired Picard. "No Sir." stated the Cadet. "Well Captain Riker it seems that our discussion can wait till another time." said a very happy Picard. A fleet of Ships gathered around a smile planet. A planet which until recently was the Capital of the New Republic, this planet is called Corsucant. This day will be now and forever be remembered for the return of Emperor Palpatine and the Imperial Fleet into power again. "Rise all of my loyal Admirals, you have done well in exterminating the so called New Republic. But we are not finished yet, there is still the threat of the Skywalker family and their friends still out there. I want my personal Super Star Destroyer ready in the hour to go after them. The huge wookie shouted back something Han could not understand. "Han, leave him alone and come spend sometime with your family." spoke his wife. She was once know as Princess Leia Organa, now she is Leia Organa Solo of the Rebellion and wife to Han Solo. "Leia, I am sorry that we weren't able to rescue Mon Motha, but she refused to leave corsucant. I am just glad that you and our children are safe. So how are Jenna and Anakin anyway, I haven't heard a peep out of them since we came out of hyperspace."spoke Han "They are down below in the smuggling compartments asleep. And about Mon Motha, she knew her time had come to make a stand against the Emperor. The Huge Wookie informed Solo of what seems to be a Vortex. "Lando, what kind of readings are you getting from that thing?"asked Solo. Send the corrinates to Luke and Wedge. Tell them that is the only possible way to outrun the Imperial ships." yelled Solo. The Millienum Falcon and the Two X-Wings disappeared into the Vortex for the unknown. "My lord, the Assault Gunboats report that the Millienum Falcon has disappeared into a Vortex. "Captain, they are making a attack run at us." yelled Ensign Kim "Evasive manuevers Lt. Paris, lets see how they like a phaser up their tail end." ordered Commander Chakotay. The Assault gunboats began their attack run on the voyager. Laser after laser hit the voyagers shields doing no damage. "Tau two this is Tau one begin using concussion missles against these rebel scum." ordered the Gunboat Leader. "Captain they have launched missles at us, impact in three seconds. 3,2,1..impact. They seem to have no affect against our shields. Sir returning fire...all ten attacking vessels have been destroyed. Captain Janeway two more fighter craft have came through the vortex they have the same markings as the frieghter. Sir they are hailing us." said Tuvok."Patch it in Mr. Tuvok" ordered Janeway. "Unidentified vessel this is General Luke Skywalker of the New Republic please indentify yourself." "This is Captain Kathyrn Janeway of the United Federation of Planets USS Voyager. General Skywalker we have just assisted some of your comrades against ten unknow vessels, can you shed some light into this??" "Those vessels was Imperial Assault Gunboats..they have been tracking us since we entered the vortex. May we land aboard your vessel for repairs?"asked Skywalker. "General Skywalker, prepare to be beamed aboard and your vessels will be brought aboard by a tractor beam." replied Janeway. The Star's End was the First through the Vortex followed by the rest. "Good lets keep it that way. Lt Paris maximum possible warp. I want to reach that probe as soon as possible. If the Federation has been able to send a probe this far into the Delta Quadrant. Maybe we can use that same process to get us back into the Alpha Quadrant." Ordered Janeway. Meanwhile back on the Star's End. "My Lord, we have found traces of our Assault Gunboats. There seemed to have been a battle and our forces lost." said the scared ensign. "How could ten of the best Imperial Assault Gunboats be destroyed by a corellian frieghter and two x-wings!!!!" as the Emperor anger raged out of control the ensign was caught in the assault of his fiery. The Ensign never knew what killed him. " Admiral Thrawn, the vortex seems to be collapsing on itself. Sir the Vortex is no more." said another ensign. "So it looks like we are trapped here..so we will be a new empire out of this unknown part of the universe." I am still amazed as how you, what did you call it, 'beamed' us aboard." Spoke Skywalker. "We are glad to assist you in anyway. Are you from the delta quadrant?" asked Janeway. "We are from a galaxy far from here. By our instruments we are about a hundred million light years from our own galaxy." said Wedge. "Can you tell us a little more about yourselves and the Imperials." asked Captain Janeway. "I am Luke Skywalker, Last of the Jedi Knights. The Jedi Knights was the guardians of the Old Republic before Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader hunted them all down and killed them all. Darth Vader was once called Anakin Skywalker. He was my father. About ten years ago the Empire created a device called the Death Star. It was a battle station the size of a moon. We managed to find a weakness in that station and destroy it. Two years after the first Death Star another one was being built. This one was being personally supervised by the Emperor himself. We discovered this and began a assault against it. Darth Vader captured me and took me before the Emperor. There he tempted me to turn to the Dark Side of the Force. Vader and myself battled, but I refused to kill my Father. So the Emperor began to try and kill me. Vader at the last second turned from the Dark Side and tossed the Emperor to his doom or what we thought was his doom. Vader died in my arms there on the Death Star. We thought we had the Empire defeated for good. We were wrong. About six months ago the Emperor re-emerged more powerful than before. He with his fleet of star destroyers caught us off guard and wiped out all of the New Republic except for us. We managed to escape Corsucant before they arrived. Some were not so lucky. And that brings us to now." spoke Skywalker. "What is this FORCE you spoke of?" Asked a curious Chakotay. "It is all around us. It flows through every creature, every plant, everything. I serve the good side of the force. The Emperor and his followers serve the Dark Side of the Force. All Jedi uses the force as his defense and his offense. I am the Last of the Jedi Knights." "As of now we have no way of communicating with our superiors because for the last three years we have been stuck out here with no way home." replied Janeway. "That may not be true Captain, we have established communications with Deep Space Nine. It seems that Starfleet has found a warp conduit left over by the Borg to the delta quadrant. They have been searching for us every since we showed up missing. Captain Sisko wishes to speak to you." spoke Tuvok. "If you will excuse me I must take this call. It is really important." said a very excited Janeway. "Captain Sisko you don't know what a site is to see your face." "Well Captain Janeway, I am flattered. Now how in the world did you get in the Delta Quadrant?" asked Sisko. "It's a long story. Can you get me the details on how to use these warp conduits? We are anxious to get home. I sent for you and Cain because as my last command I am asking you and and Cain to take control of the Battlestars and ask the Federation for membership. As of now you are Commander of the Battlestar Galactica. Now leave me and Cain we have much to discuss." asked a tired Adama. As Apollo left his Father, he notice a white glow coming from a hallway. He entered and disappeared. "Cain, I must ask a favor of you before I die. I want you to stay behide, you and the Pegasus to stand guard over the Planet. I fear that a evil is on the Horizon and it will take the might of the Galactica and the Federation to defeat it. But I want a last line of defense for New Caprica just in the case whatever is out there makes it here."asked Adama "Adama, you know I am the warrior at heart and if there is to be a battle it should be I out there fighting evil, not your son and the Galactica..."spoke Cain "I know you don't understand now, but Apollo is destined to be the greatest warrior this fleet has ever seen. "Iblis, we haven't seen him in twenty yarhen. Why should he return now?"asked a confused Apollo. "It seems that right now, he is going to present himself before a galactic empire more deadly than any Cylon Empire. He will convince their leader that to return with him to hunt us down and everyone that we call friend. I fear that the Federation will fall before their combine might unless help is brought to the aid of all. I am in search of a ship called the Galactica. I want these people hunted down, exterminate any and every one that gets in your way. Apollo and the Galactica set course for Starfleet Command. Cain remained behind as the guardian of New Caprica. ******************************************************************** **************************************************************************** Chapter 3 ********* The Battlestar Galactica slowly enter orbit around the planet earth. This was a sight that no one will every be able to get use to. The Battlestar size alone could put fear into any enemy. With the weapon upgrades installed by the federation the ship is even more deadlier now. All her vipers are now equiped with phasers instead of laser cannons. It would have been a glorious site to have seen the look on Baltar and the Cylons if we had these weapons back at Caprica. The twelve colonies would still be alive and so would my family thought Commander Apollo as he set there in the Commanders seat. It would take him a while to get used to seating in his fathers place. "Admiral Necheyev, the Battlestar Galactica is requesting clearance for their shuttle to land. Commander Apollo of the New Caprican fleet says he must speak to you. He says it is of the upmost importance."spoke the Cadet. "Tell them I will be expecting them. Permission to land." said Admiral Necheyev. Why can't they just let us install the transporters on board. It would make it a lot easier to go to and fro than using a shuttle, thought Neceyev. It took Apollo several minutes to land and reach the waiting room to meet with the Heads of Starfleet. TO tell them the story that his father relayed to him onboard the ship of lights. *********************************************************************** As the shuttle landed at starfleet command Admiral Picard was wondering what starfleet had in mind for him and Captain Riker. "Greetings Admiral Picard, Capatin Riker...if you will follow me, I'll take you to meet with the rest." asked the Young Cadet. "Will, what do you think is going on??"asked Picard. "I don't know sir."replied Riker. A few minutes later and they were at the main board room of the head of Starfleet. Seated around the table was various admirals from all over starfleet. At the head of the table was Admiral Necheyev. "if you will all have a seat I will get on with why I have called all of you here." stated Necheyev."Thank you all for coming on short notice. Starfleet intelligence has pick up readings of a fleet of sorts coming from the Delta quadrant. As you all know since the discovery of the warp condutis used by the Borg, we have been in contact with the Voyager, who is now on her way back to the alpha quadrant and directly to earth. During a normal recon of space, the Voyager picked a signals from a small vessel being pursued by a fleet of ships. The vessel and several other crafts came in sensor scan of the voyager. Captain Janeway has stated that the scans showed that 1 of the ships to be the size of three starbases starships combined. The rest are just a little over the Size of of the Galaxy class ships. Janeway and her crew intercepted a small craft , a frieghter called the Millienium Falcon. The crew had been rendered unconscious by a blast to the ship, it was drifting through space unmaned and unpowered. The Voyager came in contact with what seem to be fighter craft using a LASER technology that seems to be the quite less than our phasers. the Voyager managed to destroy the attacking vessels and bring the frieghter on board. Two other craft were brought on board as well at their request. Captain Janeway insisted that she wait until she spoke to me in person to explain what was going on. But she said to have the fleet prepared for the worst." Finished Necheyev. "Admiral, what has that got to do with me?" Asked Picard. "Jean-Luc you are here by relieved of duty at Starfleet Academy and put back in charge of Command of a Starship as well as that of the fleet. You will keep your rank of Admiral."stated Necheyev. "What ship will be assigned for me to take command of?"asked Picard "As of 0900 today you will be in command of a modified Galaxy starship renamed USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E, it is a super dreadnought Starship. Its weapon systems have been upgraded to the best that starfleet has to offer. There is a main phaser Cannon and then there is the other phaser banks all over the ship. A Phase Cloaking device has been install. The shields are compose of a mulit-wavelength harmonics, which should keep a enemy from ever finding a correct frequency since there isn't one. Gentlemen please come in."stated Necheyev. Lt. Commander Data and Lt. Commander Geordi LaForge enter the room. "Admiral Picard, we have been designing a new warp drive system which will give you the power to achieve warp beyond 10. The design came from the Battlestar Galactica and a captured borg vessel. Data.." LaForge stepped aside to let his Pale friend speak. "As you all know, the warp conduits that the borg used are scattered throughout the universe. What no one has be aware of is that they really didn't need these for the purpose of travelling but as a escape route just in case their warp drive ever collapsed. These warp conduits seem to have been here for the past hundred or so years. The Borg have been gathering specimens from each different race in this quadrant to see if they were fit to be assimilated. After by brother Lore interfaced with the Borg he learned of this and all of the Fail-Safe programming built into the Borg. I recently decided to reactivate Lore for the Purpose of downloading his memory into my positronic brain to learn why he did what he did. I learned from his memories that he knew of a Gateway that led to a distant part of the Delta Quadrant that the Borg had yet to explore. For some unknown reason the Gateway would only appear every twenty to thirty years and the Borg decided it was best if they did not explore into the phenonenum. It would seem ladies and gentlemen that the gateway has reappeared and brought a new threat to the Alpha Quadrant. Lt. Commander LaForge and Myself have been assigned to the new enterprise for the purpose that we know the ship better than anyone else." replied Data "Admiral Necheyv, I would like for to be assigned to the Enterprise as Captain under Admiral Picard. I feel that I should be his first officer again for this mission." asked Riker "Captain Riker, we called you here for that purpose itself. The experimental starship USS Titan has been designated a failure and that your command talents would be best suited for the Enterprise. You will keep the Rank of Captain, but will be Admiral Picards first officer. Lt. Commander Data is hereby promoted to full commander. Lt. Commander Geordi LaForge is also promoted to full commander and is hereby placed as chief engineer on board the new enterprise." ordered Admiral Necheyev."Ensign will you ask Captain Apollo to come in. "Thank you Admiral Necheyev for allowing me to come and speak with you, I had not expected to be speaking in front of all the Admirals here."Spoke Apollo "Well we have just finished of meeting. He thought that it would be another Galaxy Class starship, but the size of the new Enterprise alone made his heart stand still. The ship was so huge that it was being built at the utopia plantia ship yards at the Mars Colony. The Ship was just as large as the Galactica if not larger. Four Warp Nacels and what seemed to be a huge cannon on the underbelly of the Saucer section. A ship of this size could carry at least a crew of fifteen thousand plus civilans. Starfleet must really be paranoid about enemys of the federation if a ship of this size was built so fast and without anyone knowing about it. This wasn't a exploration vessel, this was a vessel of war. Captain Jean-luc Picard for the first time in his life was scared of the unknown. They have used their powers to further gain more power for themselves, that itself isn't that big of a no-no. What they did with that power on the other hand is the biggest no-no of all.. they used their powers to bring havok and chaos to an unspecting civilization, they used this new found might to enslave hundreds of thousands of beings into following them to their doom. We are the guardians of the Multiverse, you see there are countless universes that are parallel to this one. It seems that evolution had stepped in and had created several different races that would achieve the next step of evolution, one of the races was the Seraphs as you already know, the next race to start evolving is humanity we did not simply offer to Riker the power, we simply started to evolve him to the next level. The Seraphs divided into two separate groups, one of them was the Ship of Lights as they are called to the Capricans, the others, or should I say the other, is a being of pure evil. What the Galacticans don't know is that Iblis has achieved to the next level of evolution.
