This file presents user documentation to help explain the concept of shareware, how AFFORD IT??? works, and why registration of AFFORD IT??? is so important. All supporting information is found within an on-screen help network; there are no manuals needed. Menus are provided for ease of use as AFFORD IT??? has several different calculation modes depending upon the information you are looking for. Within these modes, the principle, monthly payments, duration of a loan, and pay-off amount can be found. Present and future values can be found for annuities, and an on-screen pocket calculator is included for quick calculations. Output may be directed to the CRT or a line printer. The calculations done within AFFORD IT??? use the method of add-on install- ments or equal principle reduction. Some lenders use slightly varying calculations, but AFFORD IT??? should provide an excellent idea of what to expect in general. It is suggested that, before you use AFFORD IT???, you should read through the contents of the help system. It will help you understand the program and a little bit about interest calculation. AFFORD IT??? was written for use on IBM-PC family/100% compatible systems. It is suggested that the user have at least 256K of RAM and MS-DOS version 3.0 or newer. Please specify your wish with your registration letter. 2) a full 90 day warranty during which your program disk will be replaced free of charge if you return your defective program disk with a brief explanation of the problem.
