CAD-3D 2.0  README.DOC (3/25/87)

         Here are the latest additions and alterations:

         -   SUPER VIEW MODE SETTINGS: When rendering a Super View in
         Final mode, you may abort the rendering process at any time
         by pressing [Undo].

         -   CYBSMASH.ACC:  This desk accessory compresses files
         during a CYBERMATE Recording session in CAD-3D 2.0.  If
         CYBSMASH.ACC is not installed, CAD-3D will warn you at boot
         time.  If you do not plan to record CYBERMATE animations, you
         do not need this accessory.

         -   CYBERMATE PLAYBACK:  If you wish to play back your
         CYBERMATE Recordings without editing them from CYBERMATE, use
         the programs found in the ANIMATOR folder on your CYBERMATE
         disk.  Instructions will also be found within that folder.

         -   CYBER CONTROL:  Tom Hudson is currently working on CYBER
         CONTROL, which is a motion-control language that lets you
         control CAD-3D 2.0 from a text command file.  With CYBER
         CONTROL, you can automate your recording sessions.  Create
         complex, looping instructions, then go off for dinner while
         CAD-3D automatically goes through its paces.

         -   ARBITRARY PIVOT POINTS:  When placing Arbitrary Pivot
         points, the X, Y, and Z coordinates of those points will now
         appear in the title bar of the active view window.  These
         coordinates will be in integer form (e.g., 1000 = 10.00), and
         will be compatible for use with the CYBER CONTROL system.

         -   DISK BACK-UPS:  We had so much code to place on this disk
         that we had to use a special formatting program called
         TWISTER which adds 40K of space.  (TWISTER was originally
         published in the Spring 1987 issue of START, The ST
         Quarterly.)  As a result, YOU MAY NOT USE THE STANDARD GEM
         DISK COPY ROUTINE TO BACK UP THIS DISK.  You may back-up the
         various files by dragging them as a group, or individually,
         to another disk.

         -   GDOS OUTPUT:   Instructions for using GDOS printer
         output, and the Hardcopy program are included in the HARDCOPY
         folder on this disk.

         -   The CAD-3D illustrations at the beginning of the manual
         (Android), and at the beginning of the Reference section
         (Space Station) were created by Darrel Anderson and are
         available on the Future Design Disk (ST0232) through The
         Catalog.
