DESCRIPTION

  This  is  a  very simple program to map the ECMA-94 Latin1 8-bit extended
character  set  used  by  the  Amiga to TeX commands.  This provides a much
faster  way to enter accents and special characters in a text to be printed
by  TeX.   You just use the normal Amiga accents (Alt-f, Alt-g, ..., Alt-k)
with  the  letters that support accents, and then map them to the usual TeX
accents (\', \`, ..., \").  Also, if you have texts with accents written on
the  Amiga  (CygnusEd,  ProWrite,  Professional  Page,  and most other word
processors), you can easily map them to TeX for high quality printing.


OPTIONS

  No options (always maps the standard input to the standard output).


EXAMPLES

  To map a file with Amiga accents to TeX accents:

  Latin2TeX <amigafile >texfile


BUGS

  Not every sequence is mapped out correctly (unkown characters are left
alone). In fact, I have mapped the sequences I needed, but new sequences
can be easily added to the source.
