 Ham18View V1.1
 ==============

Description:
------------
It`s just a short hack to display pictures with usage of the
datatypes. Boring ? No ! It shows the pictures with a
18bit-truecolor-format on any AGA-Amiga ! So if ya ever
wanted to view your truecolor-pictures without HAM-Bugs,
  try this !

For loading and scaling this programm uses the guigfx.library
and render.library from Cpt. Bifat / TEK Neoscientists. These
librarys are REALLY worth a look for any programmer !

Ham18View is Freeware. Use it at your own risk. And remember,
check your datatypes ! Some buggy datatypes are around, and if
you have crashes or incredible long loading-times, search the
  Aminet for better ones !

Requirements:
-------------
Any AGA-Amiga (A1200/A4000), lots of free ChipRam (around 1.5 MB),
Fastram, and a whole set of datatypes.

Limitations:
------------
Ofcourse the choosen Display-Format, the maximum displayable
Resolution is 320x512. Larger Pictures will be scaled to fit.

Installation:
-------------
Get the guigfx.library and the render.library from the Homepage
of TEK NeoScientists ( http://tek.flynet.de ) and install them.
Copy the programm wherever you want.

Workbench-Usage:
----------------
Started by double-click from the workbench, the well known
ASL-Filerequester pops up and lets you choose the picture.
After the picture is loaded and it is bigger then the maximum
displayable size, it requests you to choose a scale method.

Fit to screen = picture will be scaled to max size 320x256 or
512, depending on the original picture size.

Proportional = picture is scaled with the original aspect
                   ratio

If the picture is displayed, a mouseclick in the picture area
or any key will close the picture, and you can select a new one.

CLI-Usage:
----------
  HAM18View accepts the following parameters:

scalemethod: f or -f for Fit to Screen

p or -p for proportional scaling

    filename: one or more filenames

If you give a scalemethod, no requester will appear, if the picture
  is too big.

Known Bugs:
-----------

  - possibly the current version needs Kick 3.1...dunno exactly.
If the screen looks strange, try the newest setpatch ( V43.xx )
    from Amiga Int.

  - this proggy is tested succesfull on Amiga 1200 with Apollo 1240,
and A1200 with Blizzard 1260. On an A1200 with Blizzard 1240 it
doesn't work ... Don't ak me why, i'm still searching....

So, thats all. Big thanks to Cpt. Bifat/ TEK Neoscientists for his great
Librarys - Good Work, Pal !

                              Dante/Oxyron
