1. Introduction

   This is very powerful LHA/LZH archive stripper. This program offers many
   ways to strip files:  Normal stripping (by filename), CRC Stripping, CFN
   Strippping,  Keyword  Stripping  and  Filenote Stripping.  Files  can be
   optionally tested with LhA before stripping.

2. Requirements

   - An Amiga with operating system 2.04 or above
   - LhA version 1.50r+
   - Some memory

4. Installation

   Copy MultiLS to C:. Copy LHASTRIP.COM, LHASTRIP.CFN, LHASTRIP.LST,
   LHASTRIP.KEY and LHASTRIP.CRC to S:.


5. Usage
--- - - - -  -   -    --    -    >

   MultiLS [lharcfile] {TEST} {ADD} {NONORMAL} {NOCRC} {NOCFN} {NOFN} {NOKEY} {NOANSI}

   - If lharcfile not specified, filerequester will be opened!
   - switch ADD turns advert adding ON!
   - switch TEST turns testing adding ON!
     |
     `-> If TEST fails, MultiLS will display "Test failed!"
         and quits immediately. (all strip-operations will be skipped!)
         |
         `-> Test-keyfile can be ie. "failed!". I use it myself.

   other switches:

   - NONORMAL = disable normal stripping.
   - NOCRC    = disable CRC stripping.
   - NOCFN    = disable CFN stripping.
   - NOFN     = disable filenote stripping.
   - NOKEY    = disable keyword stripping.   *** SINCE 3.20 ***
   - NOANSI   = disable ANSI-colours.

   default settings:

   - no filetesting or adding
   - all strip-methods are enabled.

   examples:

   - MultiLS Packet.lha TEST ADD NOANSI
   - MultiLS NOANSI
   - MultiLS TEST NOANSI
   - MultiLS TEST NONORMAL NOCRC NOCFN NOFN NOANSI

6. Using brainfiles
--- - - - -  -   -    --    -    >

   If some brainfile is missing, the corresponding option will be auto-
   magically turned off!

   S:LHASTRIP.LST
   --------------
   -  Uses "LhA d -i<brainfile>" system.
   -  Normal lhastrip brainfile.
   -  Quotation marks allowed!

   S:LHASTRIP.CRC
   --------------
   - Strip by 16bit CRC code
   - CRC strip brainfile. Use "Lha vv .." to view archive with CRCs.
   - Quotation marks NOT allowed!

   S:LHASTRIP.COM
   --------------
   - Filecomment brainfile. Insert always ": " before add.
   - Quotation marks NOT allowed!
   - You can insert ie. only first word of advertstring. Example:

     [ADVERT FILENOTE]
     : ToyFactory! This file was pumped on 28-May-1997!

     [BRAIN]
     : ToyFactory!

     This will strip EVERY ADD which contains ": ToyFactory!" - word at begin.

   S:LHASTRIP.ADD
   --------------
   - contains list of own adverts. If this does't exists, multils will
     automaticly skip add. Requires ADD switch to the commandline!

   S:LHASTRIP.CFN
   --------------
   - Quotation marks NOT allowed!
   - four last fonts will be stripped from current filename, so
     you can add ie. .LHA/.LZX/.NFO etc.. to the brainfile.
   - Current FileName brainfile. MultiLS will insert always current
     filename to the front. Example:

     In brainfile:                           bbs advert:
     --8<-------                             --8<-------
     .HTML                                   <currentfilename>.HTML
     --8<-------                             --8<-------

   Added to v3.00 some special keywords. Add them to your BRAINFILE:

   key: [reverse_noextension]

   This will reverse filename ("TEST.LHA" -> "TSET")
   `---> Strip = "<currentfilename><reversedfilename>" (without extension)
       example = "DayDreamBBSv130.lha031vSBBmaerDyaD"

   key: [reverse_extension]

   This will reverse filename ("TEST.LHA" -> "TSET.LHA")
   `---> Strip = "<currentfilename><reversedfilename>"
       example = "DayDreamBBSv130.lhaahl.031vSBBmaerDyaD"

   S:LHASTRIP.KEY        *** NEW IN 3.20 ***
   --------------
   - Deletes files containing specified keyword in filename
   - Quotation marks NOT allowed!
   - Example: Keyword "blah" deletes files: "blahhaa", "bubublah" and "ablah"
                                             ^^^^           ^^^^        ^^^^

   Please note: You use this program 100% at your own RISK!

   MultiLS is NOT a freeware! If you wanna get registered version of MultiLS
   you have to send me email or leave message to me on dit boards!

   Someone has made pirated keyfile for 3.10.  The only reason why this shit
   is protected with simple keyfile is:  I  wan't  to  know how many dude is
   using this util. So please, please, please send me some mail! DO YOU LIKE
   THIS? SHOULD I CONTINUE DEVELOPING THIS? CONTACT ME!!

   Please  note,  that  if MultiLS regognises pirated keyfile,  you HD blows
   right to the hell!!

   *** TO GET THE PERSONAL KEYFILE, JUST SEND ME EMAIL AND ASK FOR IT!!! ***

   I'm not sure does this work on lower version than 3.0 of operating system,
   because I'm not ble to test it!

     safe your harddisk...
