As some of you already know, gENETIC is planning a brandnew production which will contain raytraced art of zOOROPA users. This text will inform you of all the things you need to know and to enter this production. And what will You get if you're picture is choosen.. And what does it take to get your picture choosen.. Anyway just keep reading and start tracing soon !! ===/ wHAT iS zOOgALLERY /=== ZooGallery is a sort of musicdisk, only this time you cannot listen to several modules, but you can watch different raytraced pictures. The pictures will be brought to the viewers like they're in a sort of Gallery, so it is nothing like the old "slide-shows" you know now. The viewer can, when watching a picture, push a few icons. One of these icons will show the user information about the picture, and about the artist! It will be a big production because we'll show the pictures in high quality HAM8 or 256 colors. You will be able to install the whole show on your Hard-disk. zOOgALLERY is a gENETIC production. ===/ wHAT wE nEED... /=== We need a lot cool and serious raytracers ! There is no special subject this time. In the future we will have special theme's for the raytraced pictures. What we want from you is: =/ A raytraced image, in 100% Quality JPEG. Use ImageFX2 (preffered) and save your 24 bit image in 100% JPEG. Your image should be 704x566 pixels. =/ You may use any Raytrace package you want. But use an amiga ! ;-) =/ Information about you and the picture. Use the INFORMATION.TXT text file. =/ But remeber: we only need real COOL images.. and it should be your work. Do NOT copy work from others or digitize pictures. We could ask you to show us your project, scene and/or objects. Please make sure that it is 100% your work !! And: it should be UNRELEASED work. =/ Pack the image and the INFORMATION.TXT in an archive (LHA or LZX) and upload it at zOOROPA in the special zOOgALLERY conference. Choosen or not: you will recieve 10x credits for every valid upload. Use for every picture a different archive. That will do... We will show the world that raytracing CAN be done on the greates machine build ever: the Amiga! We will have place for 5-7 pictures. For now, you will have a few weeks to complete your picture.. The deadline will be shown at zOOROPA. It will be shown to you 2 weeks before the actual deadline. The INFORMATION.TXT is included here and you can find it also at zOOROPA! ===/ wHAT dO yOU gET /=== If you decide to enter this production (competition?), you will get 10x credits for every valid upload you send us. You won't get anything if your upload is not complete... So please fill in the whole INFORMATION.TXT text file, and make sure that your image is the right size and JPEG quality. You will be nuked a zillion times if you upload games, demos, doors or whatever in the special zOOgALLERY conference ! Watch the upload rules all the time ! (You should do that anyway). If your picture is choosen, you will be informed and you earn a disabled account at zOOROPA. Your name will be in the scroller(s), info-screen, bulls, textfiles and messages... And that's all. Your picture will be overwritten at some small places by the icons. All uploads will be own by us. By uploading your picture, you give us the right to spread the picture. No PD company may copy or spread the zOOgALLERY series without permission of us. Only serious uploads will recieve the 10x credits bonus. It is possible that not all the information in the INFORMATION.TXT typed by you will be used or shortened.
