If anybody like to have an new ansi he could specify everything like WHO should do it and for what needs he would like to have it and so on. This door was mainly done for H2o/SAD and his BBS called RAVELAND! Hodge has changed the /X REXX PORT since /X $Ver 2.0! But If he did so then you need at least /X 2.0+ to run this door! It was NOT PRIVATE!!! What do this mean!? Well, realy simple i guess! In the previous version(s) of ARQ the ARTIST had to upload the request to somewhere on the bbs and maybe (if he`s a friendly one) leave the User for which the Ansi was for a MSG about that he ul it! No need of that crap anymore! The Author can do anything from the door itself with a minimum of work! To be able to do this the ARTIST have to call the door and choose HIMSELF as the ARTIST! If e.g. H2o will choose H2o as the artist to do the ansi the door will recognice this and will open HIS PRIVATE menu! There he`s able to upload the finished ansi directly to the user without trashing a Conference Filedir allover! News in 2.0: ------------ · Removed Request MSG to ARTIST send! Read why ... · The REQUEST datas will NOT be send as an MESSAGE anymore as in the previous versions because we figured out that this would trash da msgbase TOOO much! So a datafile for each artist will be created which he can download! That`s a more intelligent way I think because by this way the artist must not write down all da requests by hand & he can now download the WHOLE REQUESTS in one file! · NEW GREAT H2o OUTFIT! GREAT! · Recoded Main Menu Handling! Saved about 20lines of code! Once back to the REQUEST DOWNLOAD ... The Artist can get this file by the same way as he can enter the ANSWER REQUEST Menu! I put a menu in there to choose what he want to do: DL REQUEST FILE , UL FINISHED REQUEST(s) , BACK TO MENU. That`s it!
