@Toc "Main"

@{b}@{u}iNSTALLATIOn@{ub}@{uu}

                      The installation is very simple...

  The Installer will do the following for you:
    - delete or rename the EXAMINE and FILECHECK Icons in the
      "BBS:COMMANDS/SYSCMD" directory (The Installer will
      copy the files to an OLD-Directory.)
    - copy the directory rEAL with all the files to DOORS:
    - copy the directory COMMANDS with all the files to BBS:
    - copy the directory LIBS with all the files to SYS:
    - copy the directory C with all the files to SYS:
    - copy the directory WBStartup with all the files to SYS:

  You have to do the following:
    - If you want to use the PseudoDir, you have to change all your
      Conf-Icons. The last ULPATH should be "BBS:PseudoDir/".
      One Tooltype must be: "ULPATH.x=BBS:PseudoDir/"
    - now change some @{"Tooltypes" Link "Configuration"} of the U- and RZ-Icons in the
      "BBS:COMMANDS/BBSCMD" directory

  ready...

  The functions CONFTOP, WEEKTOP, ALLTIMETOP are not running in the
  demo version. You can also only make an LOKAL-Upload in the demo version.

   With this door you can upload your files and go on working. The door
   will check the files in the background. Files and FileID-Lines will be
   deleted, added and so on...

   First when you start it (with U), the UploadMSG.txt of the current
   conference will be displayed, and then some informations will be
   displayed. And now you can select what you want to do. You can do the
   following things:

     A = Abort
     P = Private Upload
     G = Goodbye after transfer

   or start normal Upload with RETURN.

   If you start with RZ then only the informations will be displayed and
   the upload will start immediately.

   If you are on local mode a filerequester will open and you can select
   the files else a normal upload will start. Then all filenames will be
   checked if they are only 12 characters long, if not you can enter a new
   filename. And at least all filenames will be displayed in a short list.
   After that you can work with /X again. The uploaded files will be
   checked in the background.

   The background-check-system works like the following:
     - get the FileID of the file
     - get other informations of the file (filesize etc.)
     - strip lines out of the FileID (BBS-Adds)
     - add your FileID-Line to the FileID
     - write the new FileID to the uploaded file
     - strip files out of the archive
     - add your files to the archive
     - write the FileID and the other informations to the Dir-File of the
       current conference
     - write EAll-Messages on Group-Releases
     - do some little other stuff and then check the next file

   The procedure is not the same on all files. If the file have no FileID,
   then the file will be moved to the Remember-Directory and you can enter
   a FileDescription on your next upload.

   The Private-Upload is very different from the procedure. On a Private-
   Upload the files will only be moved to the Hold- or Private-Upload-Directory
   and the FileID will be read and some other little stuff will be done. On
   the Private-Upload the FileID must not begin with a "/". Private uploaded
   files will not be checked in the background.

   After all files are checked, the intern Conftop, Weektop and other Tops
   will be written. The NewFiles text will be written, too.

   You can make your first upload in Conf 1 and then join an other
   conference and make an other upload. There will be no problems with the
   filechecking, because the rEAL-uPLOAD is a very intelligent system.

   rEAL-uPLOAD supports 4 other functions:
     - SENT
     - CONFTOP
     - WEEKTOP
     - ALLTIMETOP

   SENT:
     Here you can enter a short Sent-By.

   CONFTOP:
     - The ConfTop-Uploader of the actual conference will be displayed.
     - If you enter "CONFTOP <confnumber>" the ConfTop-Uploader of the
       given confnumber will be displayed.
     - If you enter CONFTOP ?" a little commandlist will be displayed.

   WEEKTOP:
     - The WeekTop-Uploader of the system will be displayed.
     - If you enter "WEEKTOP D" the WeekTop-Downloader will be displayed.
     - If you enter "WEEKTOP ?" a little commandlist will be displayed.

   ALLTIMETOP:
     - The AllTimeTop-Uploader of the system will be displayed.
     - If you enter "ALLTIMETOP D" the AllTimeTop-Downloader will be displayed.
     - If you enter "ALLTIMETOP ?" a little commandlist will be displayed.

@{b}@{u}sERVEr@{ub}@{uu}

   The rEAL-uPLOAD has a Server integrated. This Server should be started
   when you start your Mailbox. Normaly it's located in the SYS:WBStartup
   directory. You have to set a Tooltype in the rEAL-uPLOAD.info Icon in
   the SYS:WBStartup directory. This Tooltype is called SERVER.

   The Server looks in the Playpen and Work directories of the nodes. If
   it finds any files which are no longer needed, it will delete the files
   and the other files will be marked as "NEW". It's not necessary to know
   more about it, it's only needed for the rEAL-uPLOAD intern.

   If you don't want to start the Server in the WBStartup, then you can
   start it from the Shell, too. Put the following line into your
   User-Startup or Startup-Sequence:
     DOORS:rEAL/rEAL-uPLOAD/rEAL-uPLOAD SERVER
