Now you need to edit the Tooltypes on doors/FL/Freeloader by opening a window to the directory, clicking once on the Freeloader icon, and then selecting the infomation selection from the Icons Workbench menu. Currently Freeloader supports the userame tooltype with 3 options. These are edited on doors/FL/Freeloader.info M:x Maxium bytes dl 'x' is # of megabytes allowed S:MMDDYY Date you can start Freeloading E:MMDDYY Last day you can freeload The tooltype is the users name, exactly as it is in user.data (upper/lower case counts) no extra spaces or quotes. A tooltype with a username alone allows the user to Freeload with no restrictions on how much or when he can Freeload. The username tooltype supports 3 different restriction options, which should follow the username as in this example: Leland Gaunt=M:500,S:072194,E:083094 this tooltype entry would give me Freeload access starting on July 7 1994 and ending on August 30 1994. It also limits me to a Maximum of 500 megabytes. Each option must be followed by a colon ":" and then the value. each option must be seperated by a comma ','. The dates must be in the format MMDDYY. You can include/exclude any combinations of options you like. For instance if you leave out the byte specifier M then there is no byte limit for that user. or if you put an S start date but no E end date, then after the start date the user can Freeload until you remove his tooltype entry or add an end date. You can add bytes in as little as 1 meg increments to the M: option in the users tooltype to extend his byte limits or adjust the date in the E: option to extend the users time. There are several tooltype examples on doors/FL/Freeloader.info USAGE: When the user runs the FL door he will be greeted and shown his access limits if he has any. Then, if his access restrictions are met, he is allowed to download regardless of his ratio. Sysop Menu: The sysop will see a menu, new to v1.2 that will allow him to view the current records as well as delete records. A user record is created the first time the user accesses the account after it has been added to the Freeloader icon.
