Art!Order Documentation · _ __|__________________________ |___(_)______________________________________:_____| | ¦ + Desaster '97 + | |________________________________| · About the door and the usage · - ---------------------------- - Yes, here we go for just another (?) ascii order door Its a long time ago since the last ascii order door has been released and i wont miss to release this version of an ascii order door. Since i changed to FAME bbs i only found one ascii order door that works 1oo% correctly and this one was Siegel's Askii Order, i liked that door verry much in the beginning because it was able do include selfmade designs for the different screens, a good handling and other stuff, but sorry i can't see it anymore (hi stefan 8)) As i run the old Endless Pain on Amiexpress i used kain's great New!Order door which was released under the duplo label, but it wont run correctly under FAME. And so i started coding a own one with all the nice features of Siegel's and kain's one (Except the upload and download function in kain's New!Order maybe i'll include this option in a further comming version of Art!Order) The usage is simply the same as always. the door can be called from the bbs over the "order" command. The editor is accessable from 'W 14 #' or directly from the order. Neigther Art!Order and the @{"Editor" link "Editor"} are with full cursor key handling. Thats it about the usage. (just view the included .ilbm files for a preview) @endnode @node Editor " How to use the editor" About the editor options ------------------------ o Level to access the door - Enter the level a user must have to access the door (Art!Order) o Level to access the editor - Enter the level a user must have to access the door (Art!Order editor) o Level to delete requests - Enter the level a user must have to delete global requests, if users level is below the given one, he's only able to delete his own o Post message to conference - Enter the number of the conference you want to save the message to o Chosse design set. - Here you can give the number of a design set of ansi or ascii files which will be displayed in the menu where the user choose the artist, while he fills out his request and in the bulletin output. To include new design sets make sure to post them to the Designs drawer in the Art!Order directory. Each design file has 3 members and must be called Artists.# - ansi/ascii displayed in the 'choose artist' menu Enter.# - ansi/ascii displayed while filling out the request Output.# - ansi/ascii displayed while viewing the output bulletin Where # is the next following number of the design file The output of each page will start at the eleventh row so take care that the ansi/ascii isn't larger then 10 lines. If a file is missed to display because it don't exist, etc. Art!Order will look for a default file to display it. The default file is called .Def instead of .#, so if you like just change the number of a choosen design file to set your own default. i've included a lot of design files by the world best artists and at this point i'd like to thank the following dudes for there fast work and the cooperation for this door. If you want to install Art!Order by hand create a "Desaster" directory in your Doors: assign and copy the AOrder.Exe and AOEditor.Exe executables to it. As next create a "Data" and a "Designs" drawer in the Art!Order directory - The Data directory is required for all data files Art!Order needs/create - The Designs directory is required for the Design files Load your SystemEditor and click on the Doors button, give "Order" as command name and set the file and path to the AOrder.Exe executable (You don't have to give a access level, he should be set in the editor) Now click on the Door-Config button and create a new config called "AOEditor" and set the file and path to the AOEditor.Exe executable. *Note* to run the editor from Art!Order the command must be called AOEditor else Art!Order cant locate the editor. If you want to run it only from the Doors menu in 'W 14' name it as you like.
