These are just some ramblings by me that I've collected for the last 6 months or so... Just some stuff I want to share with you all... I would like to send an apology to The Boss & Little Bug about how much of an asshole I was about their "Super /\miMsg". (In the docs to SAmiLog v1.10)... "Sorry!", I hope you didn't take it personally and just *ignored* the bullshit I wrote about it!... Thanx for mentioning where you got the design from! SORRY SORRY SORRY! (No one ever said anything about this but I was an asshole, and I don't like being thought of as one...) Da ego booster: "Just wanted to tell you that if SAL was coded in 'c' it would be an incredible work of genius! But since it is programming in ASSEMBLY it's just that much better! REally impressive!" Big Boss/FLT/Mirage BBS So here I am again, here to take out some anger and annoy some more people! Firstly I want to address the topic of "arogance". Apparently, lots of people think I'm really arogant and are afraid to talk to me and shit like this... Haha, well you obviously don't know shit. Sure, I might say something like "doing it this way is stupid, and doing it my way is better", but it's usually true... At first it angered me a bit that people thought of me as arogant instead of the fun-loving-nice-person who my friends know me as! To use Dream Warrior's words, if any of them knew me, they wouldn't think I was arogant. So why do people talk about things they know nothing about?? In reality I don't really care about what these people think, because if they're that damm stupid then what they think doesn't really matter, right? Doesn't it really piss you off when you extract a util and it has stuff like "BBS:Utils/Rexxdoor", "Libs:rexxplslib.library", "C:RPStart". Fuck me, credit hungry ARexx writters. We all already have this shit installed in our systems! Especially Rexxdoor etc which is distributed with AmiExpress! (Hey why don't you guys just fucking backup your whole harddrive, AmiExpress and all, and DMS all 100 disks or so...). Fuck, I've even seen some lame dicks (no names needed, you know who you are) who pack the "RexxPlus.lib" which is about 115k into their released!! You *STUPID*, dumm, assholes!! This is a library that is only used when you assemble your ARexx "code"!! It isn't a normal library!... To put this in your releases you have to be either dense or just credit hungry!! Hi to everyone who has left me mail on boards to say hello or send some suggestions for utils etc, it's all really appreciated, Thanx! Don't forget: I didn't write ThrashTop or ThrashBar... Even the stupid people among you should notice that it says "Thash/Anthrox!" on the utils... If you think it says "P0T-NOoDLE/Anthrox", perhaps you should go and see your local optitian. So give Thrash the credit for them!.. Shit, I could only "code" in ARexx (lame) when ThrashTop was written, before Thrash helped me learn Assembler (cool). ARexx is a fuckin cool language for what it was designed for: scripts and interfacing between programs. It was NOT designed to write full programs, so why are people doing it?? I myself used to use ARexx, but after using it for a couple of months, I decided it was far too slow and shit for writting programs. RexxPlus assembles the stuff and makes it run much faster, but it's still hella-slow compaired to Assembler and it produces HUGE exacutables that need stupid library files, program hooks, etc... Come on guys, assembler is EASY to learn and use (especially for coding utils, CBM have made the amiga the BEST machine in the world for programming on!). And, In No Duck-Fucking-Order... FUCK THE REST OF THE WORLD FUCK PEOPLE WHO GET ANNOYED BY "BAD" LANGUAGE! IT'S JUST WORDS! I don't know anyone who gets annoyed by words like "beautiful", "stupid", "colourfull"... Yet people get annoyed over words like "fuck(ing)"! They're just new adjectives that the slightly older members of the human race are slowly getting used to. OK, some of them may be a little derogoratory! SPELL but, taken in their intended meaning, they are not attacks on any people, groups, or religions, and they in no way damage our society! Think back some years. "Bugger", which, taken literaly mean to fuck a man up the arse (oops I said the "F" word... shame on me) is now a very "tame" word, used by royalty etc etc. I predict that in the future (if there is one!:-) "fuck" will also become very tame. It's a little like cigarettes and hash (not that I smoke). The legal one is highly poisonous and badly affects many people, while the illegal one is much less poisonous and harmfull, and is also an extremely usefull medical drug (in some forms). Anyway, as I've said for the last two years... IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY BAD LANGUAGE, .F.U.C.K. .O.F.F.
