This is the MUI-version. GadTools version in AmiComSys.lha
(NOTE: The Gadtools-version is only in version 1.13.)
 
AmiComSys is a AMarquee client program which you use to send messages or
files to other people on a tcp/ip-net - e.g Internet. 

Now you can say Hi! to your friends on the net, or just see if they are
connected.

You can:
* send text messages
* send chat requests
* send WEB-requests.
* transfer files.
* have a public chat (HotLine)

Future updates will include support for personal chat and more.

Please put it in your Online-script and enjoy ...

AmiComSys requires amarquee.library v.45+ in LIBS:. Get it from
the AMarquee-package - aminet:comm/net/AMarqueeX.xx.lha

Note that the above only apply if your friends is using AmiComSys,
and have an Amiga. ( An IBM-PC-version of AMarquee.library would
be nice, or better a java class :-))

BUGFIX: The File-transmission feature (SendFile) should work well now.
BUGFIX: The message requesters now fall back to a recoverable Alert if
the window could not be created. (Like AmigaOS-EasyRequest should do,
but still does not :-()

NEW: AmiComSys now requires AMarquee.library version 45+.
NEW: The Distant Savings Time setting in TimeZone-settings is now
off by default. It should be off for now (it's normal time you know).
BUGFIX: Problems if you have put AmiComSys in your WBStartup. Entries in the
list from the last time you were online is still there when you go online
again. Bug reported by Thomas Svenson and Sonat Böler. Thanks!
BUGFIX: If you have noticed that you are still logged in to server some
minutes after you went offline with your tcp/ip-stack, without first
quit AmiComSys: Just save your settings, and you want notice doublicates,
anymore.
Actually the old copies of your client is removed from server when you
log in again.
NEW: As I said above you stay logged in to server for 10 minutes if you
do not quit AmiComSys before shutting down your Internet-connection.
Now it is possible to tell AmiComSys to log out from server, without quiting.
There's a new arexx command DISCONNECT. Insert the following to your
offline.script if you don't want to quit AmiComSys before going offline.
rx "ADDRESS AMICOMSYS; DISCONNECT"
BUGFIX: The message "Could not send message" could pop up without reason.

NEW: Browserpath and ftp-program-path added to Misc-settings.
NEW: Arexx commands GET BROWSERPATH and GET GET FTPPRGPATH added.
NEW: The rexx-scripts, in the rexx-directory, SendWEB.amicomsys and
SendFTP.amicomsys were updated.
You should now enter the path to your webbrowser and ftp-program in the
Misc-settings.
NEW: The data (YYMMDD) can now be automatically appended to logging path.
Optional via the Program-settings.
NEW: Obsolete message handling is removed. This means you can't send or
receive messaged with/from users of version 1.10-.
NEW: Implemented support for AMarquee-System-message. Can only be sent by
the server operator from an admin-application.
BUGFIX: "Connection broken by sender" was showed when the tcp-ip-stack was
shut down.
NEW: SendFile feature is now multithreaded. This means you don't have to
wait for a file to be sent before you can send another. You can also
receive several files at once.
BUGFIX: IconifyWhenClose setting was not active directly after the setting
had been altered. Reported by Sonat Böler. Thanks!  
NEW: Now it's possible to see who has the HotLine-window open. A ^ is
inserted in front of the client name when the window is open.
NEW: Did some changes which is invisible for the user, but will make it
possible to implement features in the future.
NEW: A dock-picture is now included in the archive.
