    What?   A program which will show an iff-picture while booting!


    Why?    Just because it's boring to look on a blank screen during
            bootup. And because other such programs are unnessesary big 
            and eats memory!
            This program also comes with a nice preferences-editor so
            your picture is choosen without any great effort.

            
    How?   ·Start the install program and the required files are installed.
           ·Type:
             
            run >nil: Shower

            in your startup-sequence directly after setpatch.
           ·The picture (IFF) that should be shown at bootup is choosen
            in the program ShowerPrefs.
           ·Reboot, and the picture will show. When Workbench is
            loaded, the program will quit automagically.


    Does it work?
            It works on my computer, a 1200HD with WB 3.0. It should work 
            with WB 2.0 and higher.
            Besides the standard libraries you'll need iff.library
            versiom 23 or higher.
            I would be grateful if you wrote to me if it doesn't work.
            Please state what computer, workbench and other peripherals
            you've got (and, of course, the version of Shower and 
            ShowerPrefs you are using. Look in the comment or use the
            AmigaDOS command 'Version').
            Also write to me if you have buggreports, .ct-files for
            ShowerPrefs in a foreign language or suggestions for the
            programs, the address is below.


    ShowerPrefs!
            The Preferences programme for Shower lives happiest 
            in the Prefs-drawer on your harddrive (or boot-disk).
            Just start the programme and choose what picture to
            view with the textgadget or the button marked 'R' (a file-
            requster will pop up and ask for a picture file.) 
            If you wanna preview the picture just click the button
            whose name is 'View'. A picture viewer is needed for this,
            Showiff works fine. You specify the viewer in a Tooltype
            (se below for Tooltypes).
            Last but not least, click the 'Save' button (or 'Cancel'
            if you're not satisfied) and reboot. Now should your picture
            show up.
            To disable Shower, just type in an empty string of text
            in the text gadget.
            NOTE! ShowerPrefs20 requires locale.library so if you are
            using Workbench 2.0, you will need ShowerPrefs18.
            But the install-script will handle that for you.

         ShowerPrefs Tooltypes:
            ShowerPrefs supports the following Tooltypes:
           ·VIEWER   Path and name of your picture viewer. Default
                     is sys:utilities/multiview.
           ·PATH     The default path for the file-requester
           ·LEFT     The leftegde of the window
           ·TOP      The topedge of the window
