This is the instruction file of BERSERKER II.d ---------------------------------------------- Berserker is an viruskiller, which was designed as a cli-command. He works with Kick 1.2, Kick 1.3, 512kb and expansion ram. Berserker switches led off and has two options: - ? for short instructions - b for an bootblocksave. If he finds a bootblockvirus in memory and option b is used, berserker tries to write an antivirusboot. this antivirusboot switches screen black and led off if cold & cool capture are normal, if these vectors are set (SCA..) the screen switches red and this booty changes these vectors to normal values. He finds and destroys following: - SCA and all his mutant brothers and sisters ->that means AEK,LSD,WARHAWK,OBELISK and so on.... - Byte Bandit (this one will be castrated) ->that means Berserker changes some pointers in memory, so BB is still able to copy himself onto disks. But the changed Byte Bandit on disk is from now on not longer able to copy himself from disk into memory. He now behaves like a normal boot block. If Berserker shows you that there was a BB in memory be carefull with disks that need the booty like Terrorpods, Katakis, Menace, Obliterator, Super Hang On.... because he is still able to copy himself onto disks. - Byte Warrior (DASA0.2) - The Exterminator (LAMER!) ->this one writes tracks full with 'LAMER!LAMER!LAMER!' - The IRQ-Virus ->this one is a link virus. He searches in the startup-sequence for the 2.nd program and tries to infect this one. If this fails is he linking himself to the DIR command. Warning!! Sometimes does he also infect other programs. If disk is write-protected he always brings a requester-> 'DISK XXX is write protected. please remove.......' Hint for programmers: his vector is OLDOPENLIBRARY(-408), therefore use always OPENLIBRARY(-552). - That's all this nice utility waz imported in a cold night by : E$G of IBB&DIGITECH
