-Great monitor setup for CyberGFX- ---------------------------------- Here is my latest monitor configuration to use with the CyberGFX system, it has been pushed to the limits to take best advantage of any 15" monitor. Normaly a 15" monitor has a range of 31 through 64KHz and does 1024x768 in max 64KHz/80Hz, usualy this is the maximum refresh rates for any 15". This is also the case for the included monitor configuration, this should ensure that it will work on all 15" monitors. BUT, now for you guyz with big balls 8-. Run the program CVMode, push the 'Monitor Specification' button and change the maximum HFreq. to 70KHz. Now go back and edit you 1024x768 setting, change the Pixelclock to 92 and watch the change... Yeps that's right you got youself and amazing frequence of ~70KHz/87Hz. Test it and see if it works, if it does try an even higher frequency... It is also possible to run 1600x1200 noninterlaced, but only in ~50Hz so interlaced is probably prefered ;). (Only tested on Cybervision64-4MB, CyberGFX 40.64, Monitor 1.37/1.33) Known problems is that some of the 24bit resolutions behave a bit weird, this is because the pixelclock is sat to high. However if you use and older monitor driver 1.33 it works fine, why ??. I hope this Bug or what ever it is gets fixed in a comming relese (3.0 ?). L8er... Martin 'Superman' Hansen
