NOTES FOR AMIGA INSTALLATION:
=============================

To run Xv, you need AmiWin, a shareware X11R6 server ported to the amiga
by Holger Kruse. You can find an evaluation version on Aminet.
Installation is very simple: execute the script install-xv and you're done.

This port requires:

- An Amiga with at least a 68020 CPU and Kickstart 2.04 or higher.

- The fifo.library and fifo-handler. You can find them on Aminet in the archive   util/misc/fifolib374.lzh.

- The APipe-Handler. You can find it on Aminet in the archive
  util/shell/APipe_37_7.lha.

Please, note that xv is a shareware program, and his author asks a fee of $25.
