This Month I had no time to make Interviews. So I did one on myself (; TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF! I'm 22 years old, 180 cm tall and weigh 75kg. I bought my first computer 13 years ago. Other hobbies besides Computers are martial arts (Ninjutsu) and Pool. Ninjutsu is a new thing for me, I just started practising it, while I've been playing pool for some 4 years now. I was ranked amongst the best In Sweden When I was at the top of my ability. -DALAMAR...SOUNDS LIKE A BAD JOKE. HOW COME YOU CHOSED SUCH A STUPID HANDLE? Well, I've had more handles than that. I went under the name "RAISTLIN" before. I picked that one up from the DragonLance series of Books. But then One day I called TOTAL ECLIPSE, and discovered that there was another guy there named Raistlin. Zcandaler accused me for not beeing "elite" enuff to keep that handle, and that I should change It, EVEN THOUGH I HAD IT SEVERAL YEARS before that other guy. I Had It since 1985, making a total of 7 years!! But the other guy was in Horizon, And I only in HITECH & YDEX. I was bitter about having to change my handle B'coz Zcandaler wanted so, but I changed It anyways. I wanted to be original, not to have the same handle as somebody else. So I picked DALAMAR instead. Dalamar was the successor of raistlin, and became Archmage of the Black robes when Raistlin died. Well actually he was trapped In the abyss, which Is the same thing.. Little Is known about dalamar, except that he is a dark elf and very skilled In magic. - WHAT'S YOU OPINION ABOUT THE SCENE? The AMIGA Scene Is like a family to me. Lot's of cool and skilled guys, and real honest friendship. Unfortunately It has grown to big lately. Every little kid and PC guy buys a modem and pretends to be mega-elite, calling up decent boards and beeing lame in public. We should'nt Validate every single user calling us up. Check him out or something. You could always load DREAMCHARTS into CED, and search up his name. There you will see which boards he has accounts on, how active he is and more. [· Swedish Sucks ·] It is some things that sometimes appear in the Swedish language that is very hard to understand. I have gathered some of my thoughts in this text. To begin with I can tell you that there is one thing that I have been thinking about in a long time. It is the Swedish tune, 'långa bollar på Bengt'. The very big problem with that tune is the title. It is very strange because there is no long balls in the whole world. Balls is, as everybody knows round. The only balls that is oval is the balls that you use in American football, and since this tune is about ordinary football it is not so possible that the tune is about the American style. The next doubt is the "på" (in English : "on") that can't be there because no one will shoot on a player, only at the goal. So we have to delete the "på" and the "Bengt" in the title because otherwise it wouldn't make sense. The title should instead be pronounced "Runda bollar i mål", in english that is "Round balls in the goal". I would say that Svenne Rubins (the compositor of the tune) must have had a miserable grade in Swedish in school. I would also like to tell him to make his lyrics much more understandable. The second thing I would like to diskuss is the Swedish proverb (in English) Close doesn't hit any hare. Some people adds, If you don't have a shotgun, but that is not true because if you are close up to a hare and shoots away a bullet it takes a while before it split up. So you have to be, well at least ten to fifteen metres away to have a bigger chance to hit it (with a shotgun). But if you stands that far away and shoots, then you'll have to know that the hare probably will jump up or run away. You will also have to think about the wind, so it is very complicated to hit it if you doesn't think before you shoot. But if you think too long then you take a risk because it may actually jump away when you are standing there trying to localise it in your telescopic sight. So the only thing we could say about trying to hit a hare is, don't. The flood comes, but no one is hurt, except for the brothers and their ark, that simply disapear. 1996: An economic upswing, such that could never had been possible even In your wildest dreams will result in that everyone on the planet will have a lot of money. The spirits of Buddha, Martin Luther and jesus will be seen by billions of people. They will start preparing humanity for the end that soon will come. 1997: the barrieer between the living and the dead will fall. The dead can now communicate with their living relatives and friends as if it was the most natural thing. 1998: The face of the earth will be completly redrawn by a series of Major earthquakes. People will understand that the prophecies are right, and that the end will come. Some sysops (yes, I done it to!) give 2* credz for all Uploads sometimes just to get a little more Upload on the board. This might be okey if you just run your board for yourself but since the board is probably in a chart of soem kind (ie The Dream Chart) it makes your board look better than it is! Because of this I have decided that no extra credz will be given out if there isn't enough credz on the DELETED USER account to take from. Is there a way to stop this? read the next article.. @Endnode @Node SOLUT Can this be solved? -Maybe through a door... Let's say Big Boss's BYTEKILLER. Let's skip the idea of a deleted users account. We let all the creds be handled in the SYSOP's account instead. That way his local Ul's will be counted as creds also. The program should award/nuke the bytes and calculate the change in the Sysop account. If a user is deleted, his creds will be added to the sysop account. If any ware is nuked, the creds will be added to the sysop account. If creds are given they should be subtracted from the sysop account. If he Hasn't enuff credits, the program will not allow him to give any untill his account has enough creds. In addition the account editor in /X should be patched so that the sysop accounts Ul/dl can NOT be edited. Actually you could patch ALL the accounts so that editing the ul/dl stats of the users will not be possible. If need arises to edit someones account, you would have to activate a door, that records this action in a crypted storage file. It should always be avaible for dl for the people making a chart to control. If the file is missing, the program should stop working. If It's edited the same thing happens. A file could also be created for the purpose of holding all the users Ul/Dl stats, and comparing with the storage file to see if any changes have been made. This to prevent people from removing the program/Patch, then edit some accounts, and install the progg again. Well, this was the main Idea I got while making some french fries (!). I haven't thought It over yet. I just wrote it down. It's 02:30 and there are only some hours left for release. I think it COULD be possible to make something like this. You just have to sit down and think it over thorougly, to make sure that there ain't no room for cheating. It was a picture, with the words "the last thing a Negro sees before the Klan Throw him into a Well". I'd like to say some words about that. My first reaction was, This is a fake!, It isn't Bronze's pic! Well, I checked It out, and sure, It was his pic. The thing is I have known this guy a couple of years now, and I can DEFINITIVE say that he is NOT a racist and absolutely no NAZIST. It sure was a STUPID thing to do, releasing this pic public, and excpecting everone to share his sense of humor. But this is what it all was about. He thought of it as a good joke, which he wanted to share. Sure, I've told some of these jokes myself, like this one: "Varför har en Neger alltid SEX på hjärnan? - För att han han könshår på huvudet! " The Thing Is that I tell those kind of stories to my FRIENDS, where I know It will be considered as a joke, and not be misunderstood as a racistical opinion. I told that story to one of my friends just a couple of days ago. UGO OKURO is his name, Swedish Light HeavyWeight Boxing Champion, and yes, he IS black. Surely not a guy you wish to get in trouble with. But you can't release pic's like that and think that everyone will understand that you didn't mean any harm. I really think this guy Is worth to be forgiven. Everyone can make a mistake. He's really nice, and would be realy sad If banned from the scene. He called me up begging for help, and beeing really desperate, not entirely comprehending that a little joke could do all this harm, and people wanting to ban him and terrorize him. This Is where this 3'rd part comes In. Someone faked a file and released It under Bronze's name. How I know that? Simple. Everything that bronze releases, he releases at MY bbs first. But this File was uploaded by another person. I was as surprised as Bronze when it showed up. Also the date of the file didn't match upp with the date of a BBS's textadder. I don't think any more proof than that Is needed. I hope Zauron & Co reads this little text of mine, and I also hope that It doesn't leave place for any new missunderstandings.
