DayDream BBS V1.00, ConversionTableXX.DAT ----------------------------------------- ConversionTableXX.DAT-files are 256 bytes long and therefore contain a slot (unsigned byte) for each character in an 8-BIT ASCII table. XX should be replaced with a two digit decimal value from 01 to 99. These files are used during a remote-session for character conversion in order to make special characters, such as scandinavian alphabets, appear correctly in both, the remote and local screens. In the data file, DayDream:Data/Display.DAT, you can separately for each display mode specify which conversion table to use for incoming and outgoing characters. After configuring this option, you'll never hear your users complaining that they don't see all the characters as supposed to. Characters must appear in the same order as in 8-BIT ASCII table!!
