got  directly  from our readers.  This
might  explain  why  there  are so few
negative  things being mentioned.  So,
please:   If  you have to mutter about
Generation, do it - but tell it to us!

Not  like certain editors of a certain
mag,   filling   up   their   mag,  by
criticising     Generation#20,    when
Generation#21 has been out for months.

as  headline  in  the  article itself,
even  though  it  would have been more

it's  to  me the solving of a mystery:
Where  and  why  did  Spoon disappear!
The  reason is that I was the musician
at  The  Summer Party that didn't know
about Spoon's death!"

of  high  quality  which  is  the MAIN
thing.     But,    just   some   small
superficial   points   that  can  only
enhance a near perfect mag:-

- The  ability to use clips inside the
  articles would be nice.
- Better  looking  fonts,  like  those
  used in say  EuroChart or ROM.
- Cleaner  switch from page to page in
  the main menu/contents.  There seems
  to  be  no  double  buffering   when
  blitting the section clips, or some-
  thing.  You can see them being drawn
  when you switch pages.
- Being  able  to  see the author  of
  each article  before  you  actually
  select it for reading!
- A string search function.
- The  panel gfx by Cougar are perhaps
  too  brilliant.   Would  a  simpler,
  smaller panel look better?"

c03Thank  you  for the positive response.
Cliparts  can be used in the articles,
but  they  take  diskspace and we also
didn't  receive  any.  Fonts have been
improved.   A  faster  processor helps
with the switching (A1220 is history).
If  the  authorname  is  given before,
people  will  start  to  only read the
articles from their favourite writers,
endangering    them   to   miss   some
important  info  somewhere  else.   If
someone  sends  us a better menupanel,
we'll gladly use it.

c03An  italicfont is essential for direct
speech.    Our  textplotter  can  only
handle  8*8  parallel fonts while real
italics need 10*8.  That's why we have
to make compromises.
