INSTALLATION

Run the supplied Install Script. -or- Copy the #?.plugin file to the Scalos:Plugins/OOP/ directory.
Start up the main Scalos Preference program and select the 'Plugins' page. Click the 'New' button and then use the file selector icon to the right-end of the string gadget to select you new plugin file from the Scalos:Plugins/OOP/ directory.

The plugin uses the ppc.library (PowerUP) kernal. This was chosen because both WarpUP and PowerUP users can use it. WarpUP requires the installation of the ppcemulib package (comes with WarpUP v4). It also keeps our options open for porting to MorphOS :)

DESCRIPTION

The Scalos desktop screen titlebar may be configured using the main Scalos Preference program. This plugin adds some additional placeholders:

%Pr, which can be used to display the PowerPC CPU installed (eg. "PPC603p")
%Pc, the PPC processors clock speed (eg. "240Mhz")
%Pv, will show the PPC CPU revision number

USAGE

In the Scalos Main Preference program select 'Titles' page. You can then use the above new placeholders in any of the title strings for Screen, RootWindow and Window.

NOTE: The upper/lower case of the placeholder names is important!
