+++ First AmigaDE handheld should to be seen at CeBIT +++ AMIGA wants developers for PDA applications +++

Welcome to the latest edition of AMIGA aktuell International.

Can it really be starting? During recent weeks we've been getting the impression that AMIGA is entering the decisive phase of the AmigaDE development. At the CeBIT computer fair taking place in March [in Hanover, Germany] the first handheld device based upon AmigaDE will be shown - so it's a short step from there for additional Amiga products. We've got the antennae out for further news.

Now, brief announcements from the hub: With immediate effect I have appointed Christian Aichinger, who has put in long hours working committedly for AMIGA aktuell International, as Vice Editor-in-chief. Henceforth you can send all your requests, contributions etc. to him as well. His e-mail address is Christian Aichinger <christian@aakt.de> .

And our regular appeals:

• Don't just lurk: Authors of articles get a warm glow when they receive feedback, up to and including constructive criticism. Don't hesitate to mail us your opinion about any contributions, either writing directly to the author or to AMIGA aktuell International (aakt@aakt.de).

• We alway want staff members: ie anyone who regularly, sporadically or just this once has a contribution for AMIGA aktuell International.
