After the developer team announced that they would only finish ACSYS if 500 punters had expressed interest in the game only 86 did so. This is why the developers now have stopped developing the game. The game will become open source - that means, if a programmer or a programmer team wants to finish the game it may be published along with profit sharing for the former team (exception: publishing as freeware).

At the WoA was the several interesting games began selling e.g. STS II, Earth 2140 etc.

Since the WoA STS II is in the stores. Two patchs for this point-and-click adventure from Epic Marketing have been published because of problems under OS 3.9.

Also available since the WoA is the realtime strategical Earth 2140 from Epic Interactive. This game needs PPC, graphic board, 32 MB RAM and OS 3.x.

Since the WoA available, too: the adventure Nightlong from clickBOOM. The, according to the manufacturer, largest Amiga game ever (3 CDs) needs at least an 030 cpu and 16 MB RAM, graphic board and a CD-ROM. Recommended is a better configuration, the best would be a PPC cpu.

A preview of the new Bomberman clone DynAMIte has been released. The speciality of the game is that it is playable online.

Also available since the WoA: Bubble Heroes from Arcadia and Exodus-The last War. Of course a new beta version of Tales of Tamar has been shown.

The controversial "software house" Alive Mediasoft is back, this time on the Macintosh market.

This firm, which was accused of selling illegal copies, plans to sell a CD with old Amiga games and an Amiga emulator for Mac computers. The Mac user may decide which games should come on the CD.
