After starting RKS (preferably from an CLI or using the EXECUTE COMMAND... from the workbench menu) youŽre presented with two solid-state, un-dragable windows looking pretty much as shown above. You can type text by clicking on one of the buttons in the (1) area. The character youŽve typed should appear in the lower window. And not only in that window. The ASCI-representative of that character will be stored into a file which can be found in CLIPS: and is named from_russia_with_love.txt . This ASCI-text file can later be used to copy into some kind of wordprocessor.

If youŽve made a mistake the only way to correct it is by clicking the [BACKSPACE] button in the upper window. Hitting the [BACKSPACE] on your keyboard wonŽt work. Same goes for adding spaces. Hit the [SPACE] button on the window, not on your keyboard.

The [ABOUT] and [QUIT] buttons are pretty straight forward. Note that hitting [QUIT] ends the program without asking. Nothing is lost however since the text file will be stored in CLIPS: until you re-start your Amiga or the RKS program.

I know the program does not comply with the intuition guide-lines but to do that it takes far more code to make the program work pretty-much exactly as it does now. Hope youŽll enjoy it.

Oh, and as far as intallation is concerned. Just place RKS whereever you want it, preferably somewhere in your workbench path so you can start it by just executing the RKS command.
