/// Introduction

  INTRODUCTION:
  =============

  Some day ago, i´ve got the following problem:
  I´ve recorded many short scenes with movieshop. This is not really a problem, but
  I´ve forgotten to turn off the audio-recording within movieshop. So all scenes got
  the o-soundtrack, which wasn´t needed by me.

  So I could choose to kill the project and do all recordings again (without the aound)
  or to remove the sound from every scene.
  I said: NO !!! There must be an esier way to do that... And there was an easier way...

  So this program was born - I just named it ´Sound-Killer´.

///
/// Installation
@node "Installation"

  INSTALLATION:
  =============

  Because the day only got 24 hours (better were 60...80 hours ;-))), there will be no
  script for the commodore´s installer. You have to copy the files ´by hand´. But this
  will be no problem, because all files and drawers are included in the archive.

  How to copy:
  ============

  Decrunch the archive - by using the lha - to any drawer (the best is the RAM: disk).
  If you don´t know how to use the lha, here´s a short description (the archive must be
  in RAM: and the lha-command must be in C:):

  - open a shell-window.
  - change the current drawer to RAM: using the ´CD RAM:´-command.
  - enter the following command: LHA X ARCHIVE.LHA (ARCHIVE.LHA muste be the name
    of the program-archive).
    The decrunched files you will find in the RAM:-disk, too.
  - Copy all files of the decrunched drawer to your ´...movieshop/macros´-drawer using the
    command: COPY FALCON´S_MS-TOOLS TO .../MOVIESHOP/MACROS ALL.
    ´.../MOVIESHOP...´ means your installation-path of movieshop. If your movieshop is
    installed on DH2: in the drawer VIDEO, the command will be:
    COPY FALCON´S_MS-TOOLS TO DH2:VIDEO/MOVIESHOP/MACROS ALL

    If you don´t want to see the output-window generated by the ´copy´-command, just add
    the option ´QUIET´ at the end of the commandline.

    After the installation, you should find the following drawers into your movieshop/macros-
    drawer:

    ... MOVIESHOP/MACROS/FALCON´S_MS-TOOLS/EXE
    ...     "       "       "       "     /HELP
    ...     "       "       "       "     /KEYFILES
    ...     "       "       "       "     /PREFS
    ...     "       "       "       "     /LOCALE

   NOTE: To use your favorite language, just copy the used GUIDE-file into the ´HELP´-drawer.
         With the programfile, just do the same.

  ====================================================================================================

  PROGRAM-LAUNCHER:
  =================

  Simply you could just copy all my ms-tools to your macros-drawer, do that. If my programs
  will not find the above said paths, they will search in different paths to find the used
  files (fonts, prefs, ...):

  ... MOVIESHOP/MACROS ===> Here will be looked for keyfiles, guides and prefsfiles.
  ... MOVIESHOP ===> Keyfiles, guides and prefs will be found here, too.
  ... MOVIESHOP/HELP/DEUTSCH ===> Guide-files are found here, if not on other places found.
  ENVARC:MOVIESHOP ===> Only prefsfiles will be searched here, if not found anywhere else.

  I´ve written a program-launcher, because:

  - you can enter only a view of programs and scripts here. Only my own programs are more than
    the menu can take.
  - all my ms-tools are together in one drawer. If you want to update someting, you just have
    to exchange the old file with the new file... and it works.

  INSTALLATION OF THE PROGRAM-LAUNCHER:
  =====================================

  At the moment, there will be only a german version of this program. If I can get some time,
  I will write an english version, too.

  - At first copy the file ´FALCON´s MS-Tools´ to your ´macros´-drawer.
  - Open the ´macros´-window of your movieshop and click at the ´NEW´-button.
    With the button ´ALIAS/SCRIPT´ you select ´SCRIPT´.
  - Klick at the button ´AUSWAHL´ and choose the file ´Falcon´s MS-Tools´ by using the
    filerequester. The last line into the window will contain ´MACROS/Falcon´s MS-Tools´.
    If not, please select the ´DELETE´-button and try again.
  - Insert a name for the program-launcher (MS-Tools) into the first line of the window.
  - If you want to start it by using a hotkey, type the hotkey into the second line.
  - Set the ´menu´-mark to start it from the ´macros´-menu, too.
  - Use the save-function to store the settings to your harddisk.
  - Close the window.
  - READY. Now you can start all MS-tools by using the program-launcher.

@endnode
///
/// Usage
@node "Usage"

  USAGE:
  =====

  - First open a movieshop-project.
  - Create a scenegroup and put there all scenes you want to remove the soundtrack.
    If this group includes other groups, this groups will not be changed.
  - Run the sound-killer with the program-launcher or by selecting from the
    ´macros´-menu.

    NOTE: You can stop all functions by closing the scenes-window from movieshop.
          The program will ask you to exit or to continue.

    Fist the program calculates the number of scenes and scenegroups. If the number
    of scenes is calculated, the program will ask you to remove the soundtracks.

    Now, the program begins to work. If you want to stop it, just close the scene-
    window from movieshop. If you stop, all scenes after the current calculated
    scene will keep teir soundtracks.

    All calculated scenes will get the scenenote ´Soundtrack removed.´.

  FUTURE:
  =======

  At this time, I´m working on version 2.01 of SUPER-CROP. These version will include
  the following features:

  - I´ll try to use another graphic-converter. You won´t need Image-FX any longer.

  - The program-window should be opened on the movieshop-screen.

  - I´m trying to add a function to save all your programsettings.

  ==================================================================================================

  I´m planning a program to use the favorite functions of SoundFX (© by Stefan Kost)
  directly from movieshop. If I could do this, movieshop will be able to do some very
  good soundwork...

  ===================================================================================================

  If I will get some time, I´ll try to do a mp3-converter by using the ´NCODE´-encoder...

           Sortscenes: Allows you to sort all your scenes by alphabetic order.

        Show-Position: Shows you the scene-position as framenumber and time.

        MovieSFX-Tool: With this tool you can transfer samples between movieshop
                       and SoundFX. Only requirement: A lot of diskspace...

            Moviehack: A hack to show the paloma-tv picture on the movieshop-screen.

         Correct-Sync: This program solves an error from movieshop 4.8 / 4.9b7.

                       puts them to your movieshop audio-partition.

              SFX2MP3: This program is under construction, now. It will
                       convert any sample to the mp3-format by using the
                       freeware encoder ´NCODE´.

  On my homepage you will find all used libraries and programs.
