Because the release of the Amiga developers system approaches AMIGA installed an open mailing list for programmers and art designers, where the transfer of applications and developer tools (mainly from the GNU/GCC sector) to the new system is to be coordinated. Questions will as far as possible be answered by members of the AMIGA staff.
Attention: It is in *no way* one of those usual "small-talk" lists, secret or even confidental informations will not be disclosed.
Persons, who wish to apply for the mailing list have to send a mail with the word /subscribe/ in the body to open-request@amiga.com. The address for postings is open@amiga.com .

»To hasten community involvement in our developer infrastructure, Amiga Inc. has established an open developers mailing list. This list is non-NDA and is for the discussion of open source topics such as tools, wrappers, libraries and ports the new Amiga Operating Environment will need.
To participate in this open source movement you can subscribe to the mailing list by sending email to: majordomo@amiga.com.

Primary functions of the list currently are the discussion of open source developmental tools and the discussions of the basics of programming to the new operating environment. General questions are being taken and answered by Amiga Inc. Developer Support staff and internal Amiga programmers.
This is not an Amiga "chat" list, nor a "press" list. Serious developers only need subscribe. What is being discussed there will be of no value to non-developers.
