1. News in Brief

• In matters of our own I want to direct your attention to a survey, which is very important for the future of this magazine and which is included in this edition of AMIGA aktuell International. I ask ALL of you to have some minutes and to participate. Thank you.


• The graphics board extension for the PowerPC boards of phase 5, CyberVisionPPC and BVisionPPC are available from the local Amiga dealers, again. As reported, DCE is producing the boards, now.


• The operating system project PowerOS becomes Open Source. Developers, who want to help completing the software find more informations on http://www.poweros.de.


• According to Microcode Solutions the PowerPC version of fusion will be released, soon. It would emulate an iMac, which needed no Macintosh-ROM. More informations can be found on http://www.microcode-solutions.com.
