»Last year I ordered a HD and received an IBM-9GB-SCSI-HD. Here in Nepal it was discovered, that it had a bearings damage and it was exchanged. Now I have another HD here, an IBM-9GB-SCSI-HD as well, which does not start at all. What do I have to think of the fact, that out of two brand-new disks none is working? Is IBM producing such a scrab (Made in Taiwan)?
I'd like to know, if other readers of AMIGA-aktuell had equal experiences with IBM harddisks.
Originally I had ordered a SEAGATE, but couldn't get any. How does it look on the hardware market concerning this?
