Songname: New Millennium Engine This song was made for the Wild-music compo at Dreamhack 1999. It's a very, very, very short "mix-down" of a song that will be over 10 minutes long. I can't tell when the ready version will be released, but I doubt that it will be before the New Millennium. ;) If you've ever heard of Meshuggah or Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects then you know what to expect. Others should really try to understand this kind of music, a good start is to listen to this short and confusing(?) song and analysing the rythms. :) It'll feature: Mikael Burman (Temal) Rythm- and lead guitars, bass and drum-programming. Jakob Nylund (DeLuxe) Synth (some solos are planned but not recorded). Petri Kuusisto * Accustic and lead guitars (not in this version) Thomas Lindfors * Vocals (not even the lyrics are written) =) *= These two guys are members of a Black-metal group from Sweden called In Thy Dreams. Petri is playing the bass in that group and Thomas is the singer. Petris' brother, Jari Kuusisto, is playing the guitar and another one called Håkan Stuvemark is also playing the guitar. On the drums there is a lad whose name is Stefan Westerberg. They have released one mini-album and one fullength album and two fullength-albums are on their way. To produce the whole shit(!) we're using Octamed Soundstudio V1.03 (Amiga of course). We'are using an old 486-PC with a standard Soundblaster 16-bit soundboard for recording in high quality (I don't own a sound-board for Amiga...yet). The whole song, which is about 9 minutes long (this can change) is devided in three separate MMD2-modules (due to memory-consumption). These three modules takes together around 45 MB, and then, DeLuxe's synth-solo is not recorded and there are no vocals yet!.. =) So.. wait and see what will happen! /Temal & DeLuxe of Under Construction Records Homepage: http://come.to/ucr
