2. aMozillaX erscheint bereits in diesem Monat!

Die Amiga-Version des Netscape Communicators 5, aMozillaX (ehemals 
aMozilla), soll nach Angaben von Ben Rothwell vom aMozillaX-Team schon in 
der ersten Hälfte dieses Monats in einer öffentlichen Beta-Version 
erscheinen. 
Die Vollversion des WWW-Browsers soll zur Londoner Messe World of Amiga 
erhältlich sein, die am 24. und 25. Juli abgehalten wird. Sie soll auch 
Java-Support über eine externe Software bieten, wobei hier vier 
Alternativen zur Verfügung stünden.
AMIGA-aktuell-Abonnenten werden sofort nach Erscheinen der ersten 
öffentlichen aMozillaX-Version in einem AMIGA-aktuell-Special informiert.

Die Vollversion von aMozillaX soll folgende Features beinhalten:

aMozillaX beta will be released in early May. A full version of aMozillaX 
will be released at the World Of Amiga show 1999. aMozillaX will be free 
and unrestricted.

aMozillaX wil come in 030, 040, 060 pre-compiled binaries. Image libraries 
will have PPC enhancement.
A PPC native version is expected in August. The source code will be made 
available and a constant versioning system (CVS) will be established.

aMozillaX will be working with other developers in order to integrate 
aMozillaX technology into a range of other Amiga products.
