In the geginnings, warpTrans will be able of translating from English to German and backwards and contain an expandable dictionary for 480,000 words and 46,000 expressions.
The feature, which is expected to be the most remarkable, is the possibility to process not just written texts in any important format (ASCII, Wordworth, RTF, HTML, YAM eMails etc.), but also the contents of sound files (IFF, AIFF, and WAVE) and to save in ASCII or HTML. warpTrans is supposed to have a high recognition ratio. A newly developped speech output system (English and German) with sound card support (direct or using AHI) is also planned.
warpTrans will be made available for PowerPC-Amigas only and use WarpUp, the PowerPC solution of Haage & Partner. To get optimum power, an Amiga with PPC603e/200 MHz, 32 MByte RAM, CD-ROM drive and sound card is recommended.

The price will be approx. 80.00 Euros, but an experienced programmer is searched for, who will be responsable for integration the graphical user interface.
