Welcome to the new edition of AMIGA aktuell international.

As you noticed in the 'Headlines of the Month', that is by the way a new part of the preface, some things were done at AMIGA. But that cannot be said about the common Amiga market: There were nearly no important news in the last month, even not regarding the theme G3/G4. Maybe this is an announcement of the summer slack period.

The internals of this edition:

• Per Torp created indexes of AMIGA aktuell and AMIGA aktuell international. Those who searches a desired article of an older edition, should download the archive in Aminet (docs/mags/Mags_txt_index.lha).


• The AMIGA-aktuell-Specials are back in Packet-Radio (in Germany). Peter Huyoff puts them on his Home-BBS HGWBOX in the section AMIGA@DEU. From there they are spreaded in the entire CB-radio-BBS-net. Eventually attached graphics aren't considered due to the low data transfer rate.


• It seems, that the mailbox Soundbox, which also offered AMIGA aktuell. All addressed mails are returned and the and the telephone lines are no longer active.

• We are looking for someone, who wants to do his/her own AMIGA aktuell international column, that informs about software updates. Each month there are new revisions for countless FD and commercial AMIGA programs. This new column should list the most important improvements of new software updates.
  Who is interested in, to do that?
• We are still looking for testers of freely distributable software. Everybody who wants to do this job is filled into a special distribution list, and gets ideas for tests in unregular intervals. You aren' obliged to perform the tests.
