The AMIGA-aktuell-international competition

1. Results of the last competition

67 readers participated the last competition. Compared with the last month this is a small raise. Nevertheless: I'm sure, you can do better, don't you?

But now the solution:

Standard question: What is the name of the AMIGA's Chief Technology Officer (CTO)?

Answer: Of course, the person we were looking for was Dr. Richard (quot;Rick") LeFaivre.

Master question: Name three companies the person we are looking for worked for before being CTO at AMIGA.

Answer: There were a number of companies, that were possible, like Apple, Sun and Silicon Graphics.

Question of opinion: Do you think it is useful, that AMIGA is on headhunt for employees from other companies, that had little or nothing to do with the Amiga?

The results:

Answer Number of Votes

1 (This has only advantages for the Amiga.)
2 (This has mostly advantages for the Amiga.) 53
3 (This has mostly disadvantages for the Amiga.)
4 (This has only disadvantages for the Amiga.)

Two participants couldn't decide between the numbers 2 and 3 and two more participants didn't answer the question of opinion and therefore forego on the second chance in the competition.

Conclusion:

It's a clear result: Most participants mostly see advantages in hiring managers out of the Amiga range, just a small minority see the disadvantages in the foreground. So, AMIGA seems to have the right strategy, if they also hire AMIGA experienced developers.

But now to the winners of the last competition:
