FD-charts

And there are two requests from me to you:

1. Please elect PD or shareware only! E.g. AWeb is no shareware, so it is not supposed to get listed in the FD charts!
2. Please elect Internet pages with Amiga specific themes, if possible, because these are charts for the Amiga. E.g. Gateway 2000 has no Amiga stuff on their HP. :-) Please name the Url of the page. Things like "The Party HomeP." don't tell me a lot...
3. What do you think about an additional description of the tools? If there were enough people with a description this could be introduces.

There were just 10 people, who participated on the FD charts last months. I wonder, why the number is that low. Anyone can participate the charts and you need just about 5 minutes to list your favorite things from the hard disk and to mail them, and finally you have another chance. You even haven't to think (like e.g. with the competition). I hope, that the number will grow some time.
BTW: For all of you, who have an online access, there is a possibility for participating online in the WWW. The desired form can be found in the FD-Hitparade2.html (Remark of the translator: This is not yet included in Amiga aktuell international. But it will be, if there are fields for state and country. Hopefully in the next edition.).

Due to multiple request this edition will contain a list of the top 10 disk mags, again. Yet FD series will not be introduced again (except YOU want me to), because there are just a few FD series left, which are really good. So the results would be the same each month. Because 2 mails, which voted for disk mags were equal there is just a top 7, this month.

There have been some little changes with my eMail address: From now on you can also vote under FD-Hitparade@Gmx.net. But the old address will be still active, but there were some irregularities with the mailbox, so it is more save to send the eMails to the new address.

Regarding the Internet addresses: Maybe it was misunderstood in the last preface. Of course, you can name ANY Url, even with Non-Amiga themes. But I like it more, if this section was filled with Amiga pages.
The only exception: M$ and Intel will never be introduced in this section. Not them!

Regarding the order: Each place is ordered with the points. If there is a push, the place is made using the number of the evaluations and then the position in the Top 10 of the last month. If this is not possible it is in alphabetical order.

* Remark of the editor:	Due to the fact that the FD-charts are a part of AMIGA aktuell (international) and so most participants are readers of Amiga aktuell international the result is not representative. This is also true for magazines, which include AMIGA aktuell.

How can someone participate?

The FD-charts come with each edition of Amiga aktuell international. Rankings have to reach me up to the 22nd. Later incoming mails are considered in the next edition.

Just send an eMail, a letter, a disk letter or anything else to my address:

In addition to your address you should name your 5 favorite games, 5 favorite apllications, 5 favorite FD-CD-ROMS (as existent). I further need your 5 favorite Internet addresses and multimedia files.

If the programs aren't part of the Top 10 I eventually need the author/ creator as well as the source of the program/ the file.

At last you should name the revision number of the program, if possible.

To take part of the competition with one ticket you have to evaluate in at least three categories. The winners and prizes are published within the AMIGA aktuell international competition.

The judges decision is final (I hope :-)
