»On April 2, 1999 in Fallingborstel, Germany was the MekkaSymposium 1999, one of the largest scene demo shows. More than 1200 visitors came to the Heidmark hall, where the show had its 10th anniversary. There were various things, that could be won, e.g. approx. 12,000 DEM (approx. 6122.45 Euros) in cash, as well as A1200 computers from AMIGA International, Inc. (represented by Petro Tyschtschenko), Amiga theme CDs, more than 100 posters, more than 1000 ball-pens, mouse pads etc.
On the show, which was also visited by an international audience, PCs and computers of the old generation like C-64 were being presented. Petro helt a speech and took part on one of the competitions. The MekkaSymposium 1999 was a good show and AMIGA is interested in the next one.«
