INSTALLING PUSHPULL? There is currently no installation script for PushPull Unarchive PushPull.lha to the location of your choice. Since this directory will contain any downloaded web pages and graphics, I recommend a drive with a decent amount of free space. The same partition as your other internet apps would be a logical choice. ADDING THE ASSIGN In s:user-startup add the assign: assign PushPull: drive:directory/PushPull Alternatively (and my prefered method) use MCP's ASSIGN PREFS option to create a "Late" assign. THE PROGRAM WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT THIS ASSIGN! INSTALLING THE AREXX SCRIPT I have created an ARexx script for IBrowse users that allows them to add URLs to PushPull from IBrowse. IF anyone has the necessary information about the other browsers AREXX ports then let me know. Copy the file addurl.ibrx to the IBrowse:REXX directory. Run IBrowse and select PREFERENCES/GENERAL then click on the Rexx tab. Click on ADD. Type PushPull for the name and select the file addurl.ibrx for the macro. Now close the preferences window and select PREFERENCES/SAVE AS DEFAULT. You can now add new URLs to PushPull from IBrowse. Thats it, installation complete.
