This is a little patch to make Ibrowse Netscape (Mozilla) compatible needs: - Ibrowse registred 1.22 - rexxreqtools.library New in this version: Can remove the patch. so you dont't have to keep the backup if you don't want to.... You may now easily edit the identstring yourself. Does now support the 68000-version as requested by Winfried Thiemeier. Ver 1.3 I made this because my bank "Sparbanken" has a https:-page that only permits netscape-compatibles (netscape=mozilla)[One program, two names. Go see a shrink!] Stupid as it may seem ibrowse identifies itself as: IBrowse/1.2 (AmigaOS 3.0 3.1) This patch makes it identify itself as: Mozilla/4.x (IBAmiOS 3x) You can check the string at www.browserwatch.com. or http://home6.swipnet.se/~w-62298/about.html. (Thanks Niclas Ericsson) The rexx-script has a icon so just double-click it to run. The old file will be renamed to IBrowse_1.22.bak. It is not possible to uppgrade the patched file, so keep the backup. If you have less then 400k free mem you can alter the script to save the patched file on your HD. You can also replace the new string whith anything of your liking. Some pages also require that you accept "cookies" , set "Accept cookies" to always , and disable the savefunction if you hate cookies. Some pages also requiers JAVA... Well we just have to wait for IBrowse 2.0. Made by Sören Forsberg If you use this patch I would be very glad if you dropped me an e-mail: sorenf@hem1.passagen.se www: http://hem1.passagen.se/sorenf
