It will make no difference if the data is on your local system or on the other side of the world (except data-accessing speed of cause). Don't think ! Use your System intuitive ! - Direct Access to Public Domain Software. Reading your favoured Computer-Magazin, finding a faszinating PD-Software with name and URL,simply go in a Shell,type in getsite URL/NAME -d YOUR_PATH/YOURNAME and you will have the Software. Now you will be able to view a webpage just by doubleclick in the icon. Hint: Take a look to the programm PICTICON by Chad Randall. (NOTE: You must be online) 1. Money-Market Reports : Here you can find Icon-links to www.stockmaster.com Click on the Icon of the corporation and getsite will download and view the topical chart of that corporation. The chart will update every 20 minutes,so you can use the -r Parameter to reload that chart every 20 minutes.So you will be able to do other thinks on your computer and get the topical data automatically.Another idea is to download the HTML-Page from the stockmaster,extract the topical curse and put it via ARexx into a turbocalc-sheet. @ENDNODE @NODE future "getsite - The Future" @{b} The Future@{ub} - NOMORE BUGS - Maybe getsite will get a server/client suite. A host will run in background.Goes Online automatically. Counts the clients to see if no client needs Online-State anymore and then goes offline. - will be able to goes offline if a client waits for reload.
