Introduction
------------
This program is a little utility useful for everybody who has the Aminet
CD's.
SmartView should be used as the textviewer in the Aminet CD prefs program
then you will be able to  use your favourite textviewer for textfiles and
MultiView for AmigaGuide files. Before SmartView this was impossible
because the textviewer and the guideviewer in the Aminet CD prefs program
cannot be selected seperately. Because of this silly thing you had to use
MultiView as a textviewer else you would only have been able to see AmigaGuide
files as pure text. Not very pleasant indeed.

SmartView was written in Oberon-A ©1995 by Frank Copeland.

This piece of software is freely distributable but still copyrighted.
Therefore you are not allowed to change the program in anyway and you
are not allowed to remove or add anything to the archive.

You are allowed to spread this program as much as you like but you may
not make any profit of it.

I cannot in anyway be held responsible for any damage SmartView may do to
your hardware or software or anything else. You use SmartView entirely on
your OWN risk.


It is allowed to include this program on public domain/shareware disks
if the price of one disk doesn't exceed 15 Dkr (4DM, $2).

It is allowed to include this program on CD-ROMS if the price of the
CD-ROM doesn't exceed the price of an Aminet CD (129Dkr, 20-25DM)

Magazines have to get my written permission to include SmartView on their
coverdisks/cdroms. If a magazine gets my written permission to use SmartView
on one of their coverdisks/cdroms they have to send me a copy of that
magazine including the coverdisk/cdrom free of charge.


Requirements
------------
SmartView requires OS3.0 or higher.


Installation
------------
Just copy the SmartView program to your C: drawer or somewhere else in your
path.


Usage
-----
To use SmartView you need to change the Aminet CD prefs. The Text viewer
should be changed to something like this: 
  SmartView TEXTVIEWER Work:Kontor/PPMore GUIDEVIEWER SYS:Utilities/MultiView
Then textfiles will be shown with PPMore and guidefiles will be shown with
MultiView.

Instead of dos arguments you can use environment variables. Just do the
follwing bits:

1) Open up a shell
2) Type MakeDir ENVARC:SmartView
3) Type SetEnv ENVARC:SmartView/TextViewer "path/textviewer"
4) Type SetEnv ENVARC:SmartView/GuideViewer "path/guideviewer"
5) Now do a reboot or do the same as above with the ENV: directory

SortIcons: A program that makes it very easy to sort Workbench icons in

MBMan: A little program that can give you some informations about the
       commands in the C: directory (or elsewhere). Can be found on Aminet

MoneyManager: A nice and free accounting program. Can be found on Aminet in
              biz/misc
