The CD: Electroacidfunk II - nomen est omen....The US top DJ and musician Eric Lee - DJ Liquid is the musician behind this excellent audio CD. TRSI&Fairlight RecordZ was founded in early 1994 as official musique company representing 2 everlasting and famous groups: TRSI (Tristar&Red Sector Inc.) and Fairlight. As both groups are settled on all different computer-systems, TRSI&Fairlight RECORDZ aim is to release high-quality music on limited CD editions - relayed in the trance/ambient/ House/Drum and Bass/Bossa Nova area. Simply all music off the beaten tracks!

Homebase located in Vienna/Austria featuring various HQ's and distributors in whole Europe, USA, Australia and Japan.

Where does the label name came from?

TRSI is actually one of the most known and reputated top demo groups in the computer scene worldwide. TRSI is a shortening for:

Tristar Red Sector Incorporated
The demo group RED SECTOR was founded in 1985 by some Canadian computer freaks and they came in contact with a lot of German computer freaks and therefore this demo group was born. During some months the group grew and RED SECTOR started to release computer and animation demos for all people appreciating such a kind of entertainment.

The absolutely breakthrough made RED SECTOR with a demo called 'RED SECTOR MEGADEMO' which was released in 1989 at a Computer fair in Holland. From that time RED SECTOR was famous worldwide and also lots of people out of the computer scene knew this name! It was created by such programmers like DELTA and DR.BEAT, especially DELTA is nowadays a cult programmer and also the men behind audios and visuals. ROMEO KNIGHT and BIT ARTS are respected and honoured by various firms and in the whole world of computer entertainment.

In 1990 RED SECTOR and another top elite group called TRISTAR melted and the best and longest cooperation so far in the computer scene was born and it still lasts on.

Since that time the name TRSI is to be found without break under the TOP TEN overall groups in all diskmag charts - demo reviews and interviews with known members are to be found in all known computer papermags and the 'RED SECTOR MEGADEMO' is still meant to be the best demonstration of computer arts till today.

TRSI is also the group with most releases ever in the scene and especially as winner of various well paid competitions.

TRSI&Fairlight RECORDZ is a young and professional record label with main site in Vienna - AUSTRIA. Founded in 1994 and based on releases coming from very talented and creative DJ'S out of the big computer scene, especially Amiga and PC.

The label itself is ment to be a ethno-subculture label keeping on releasing high quality CD'S and Videos arranged and performed by TRSI RECORDZ and especially by the people working for this label! Distribution companies are to be found in many countries and our releases are appreciated by a very huge variety of personalities........
