Phoenix Fighters, which was released by Bitwise and was published by Alive Mediasoft is a bit different type of shoot'em up. You have to pilot carefully to avoid crashing against the walls. In addition there are opponents, which have to be removed. The collision detection seems a bit too exact to me, because even the first level (of 100 in the full version) of the demo is difficult to play. The music is quite good, but the graphics is, as you expect, not state of the art. So you can compare its graphics with a PD game, again. I can't hardly wait for the full version, to see, if this changes with the full version, but I doubt it. The demo can be downloaded from the Bitwise homepage.
