AMIGA appoints Dr. Rick LeFaivre as Chief Technology Officer (09-Apr-99)

According to the AMIGA internet hompage the company has appointed Dr. Rick
LeFaivre as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). It must be assumed, that this
is "the" Dr. Rick LeFaivre, who formerly had had managing Positions at
SGI, Sun, Apple, Borland and other well-known companies.

* Steffen Haeuser writes about the "Tornado for WarpUp" inquiry:

Unfortunately the BBS collecting the inquiry results suffered an HD crash,
resulting in a total loss of all inquiry data gathered until now. I
installed the user anew, but I am sorry to say, that everybody, who had
sent a mail will have to do it again.

I recognize this as quite unprofessional, but what shall I do? The data
disappeared completely ... (my personal email account was not envolved,
only the inquiry account and several additional data of the last two
weeks - because a backup of the time before two weeks exists).
