The AMIGA aktuell international competition

1. Results of the last competition

34 mails last month - negative record. One reason may be that there were problems posting the HTML version. But now it comes to my mind that the attendence is related to the degree of difficulty of the master question.

So this is why we inform you on this place: Even, if you answer two of the three questions you get a chance to win a prize. If you answer all three questions your chances double.

The result:

Standard question: Last month two workers left AMIGA Inc.'s development department.
 Name one of them.

Answer: 'Fleecy Moss' or 'Marylin Flint'.

Master-Frage: What does the short term 'NDA' stand for?
(We want the words behind the short term, NO explanation.)

Answer: The short term stands for 'Non-Disclosure-Agreement'.
Even the workers of various AMIGA firms have signed such a
contract which forbids informing other people about firm
secrets e.g. the development of new products.

Question of opinion: What will be the results of AMIGA, Inc's
decisions regarding the strategy and personal in the last weeks?

The results:

Answer Number of answers

1 (Clearly positive.)
2 (More positive.)
3 (More negative.) 19
4 (Clearly negative.)

One more writer does not expect any results.

Conclusion:

To say it carefully: Most people are not happy about what happened at Amiga, Inc. This is expected to be the result of problems regarding the staff which don't brighten the image of the firm.

And here are the winners of the last competition:

1 x registered version of "CDCat": Ralf Junius
1 x registered version of "ManiacBall": Christian Wimmer
1 x registered version of "PrintManager": Holger Jeromin
1 x registered version "HomeCINEMA": Jochen Rhein
1 x 24-Bit paint program "XiPaint 4.0": David Scheibler

Congratulations!
