The game is rather shrouded in mystery! Not only do you not know where you are
but what you are doing there. All you are told is whilst reading the book of myst you
are transported to the island. THATS IT!
The clues are found by looking VERY VERY Closley.
If you are a beginer at this sort of game, Then you are going to be in trouble.
The clues are Very hard to figure out....IF YOU FIND THEM!
The island is SSSSooooooo beautiful! BUT This adventure is not Plainly set on some boring island.
The island is the platform of which you leap into the other WORLDS
(yes I have finished it!)
that you HAVE TO COMPLEAT. AFTER YOU HAVE SOLVED THE PUZZLES THAT WILL GET YOU THERE!
The puzzles them selves are especialy hard and not for the faint hearted.
If you are easly frustrated, Only play this game in short bursts!
But - unlike other games this is not linier! {what?} That means that you
do not have to finish the game in one certin way! There is SSSooo much more to the
story than I have space to tell like:- The Brothers traped in the books!
Why am I going So mad about this game? - If you are asking this question then you are
not playing the same game as I am! I like the attraction of "exploring strange new
words, whare no one has gone B 4" (god! I'm turning into Captin Kirk)
AND if PC (spit) games companies are starting to look at supplying games for Amiga
users (about bloody time) Then the Amiga itself will HAVE TO up grade!
Becouse in the gaame there is also Video clips regularly in it to tell you what you have to do.
Requirements:
The more that you install (I did 300Mb) And the faster the CD rom & CPU.....The better it runs.
a fast HD is a god send, as although it is a cd baced game, it will need to install some
data to the hard drive. This is up to you how much! but the smalest amount that you can
install is 40 Meg! I installed 300 Meg. (there about) The only reson that I installed
that amount is becouse that there is a large amount of Film clips (That are spooled from cd)
and with the regular scienary changes, sound FX, ect... all can be loaded from HD, while the
cd rom can be loading in somthing inportant! (aint it nice to have a multitasking computer!)
So what (if anything) this reporter say? - get it, and dicover a whole real world!
