Distance '98a , party repport  by: Leia/Apathy  Friday:  "How much muscles do you have? No, that was perhaps the wrong question" - Yitzhaq  I did arrive at Oesteraas with the subway around 18:15 or something... It took a while to walk to Eikeli, but I finally got there. As I entered the hall I saw three persons: Pinny, Xhale & Cpix. I headed towards them and put all my stash there. Did as well see three brats (I believe one of them was Evol's brother) and of course Walker and some of he's helpers. What I didn't know, was that "this" was nearly all who was to show up :) After a while, we was heading out, then Nogsf came and short after Chauple. After helping them with carry down some stuff, we split. Pinny, Xhale, Cpix and I went into a 'kindergarden' to drink some beer, since the janitor at the school (where the party was held) did show up all the time. So we decided that all drinking for once should be outside the party :) I hadn't had the  opportunity to buy beer yet, but got one from Xhale. After sitting in the kindergarden for almost three hours (at least that was what Chauple said), we went back to check if there had come more people to the party. We did 'bump' into Gainx and SamSam on the road back. We did A short meaningless(!) trip down at the gas station and back as well. But no one else had shown up. About 23:30, Nogsf and I found out that we should take a walk down to the subway. Just to see if someone perhaps didn't found their way to the party. We did meet Yitzhaq, Fall, Poi and Dent heading for the city (boozing). They was quite 'drunk', with exception of Dent. Yitzhaq was keen on having us follow them and came with some cool remarks as; "How much muscles do you have eh?" and some other remarks. Mostly about me and Nogsf had to run down at the party, get our ID's and join the crusade for the sacred bottle! We found out we didn't bother, so we went back to the school (but not after the guys had thrown a bicycle on the roof of car!!).. The party was still not 'alive', so the night ended up in a lot of "bla bla bla", in another words; We did talk! Afterwards Pinocchio, I and some other went down to the first gas station we found and that was open (Shell, somewhere) with car. It was space for three in the car, bu we managed to squezze in four persons (hey, don't sit on my....) We meet a cunfused-man-behind-the-counter dude! He told Pinocchio to get a women, when he bought the magazine 'PC-Sex', that in fact was lined up beside 'Tekno' (a Norwegian computer magazine) :)  We went back to the party (yet again). After a hour or two I found out it was time to hit the sack. Something I seldom do at parties.  Saturday:  "We have to reach the store before the beer sale close" - Cpix "Why do I talk in the phone? because you do" - Cheetah  Saturday I wake up about 07:30. After hearing a tired Cpix tell everyone that we had to reach the beer sale before it close (The stores hadn't evenopen yet). Nogsf and I found out we should head out for a walk (red: A lot of walks with Nogsf.. huh Leia? :) About 08:30 Dent arrived. A hour later we finaly went to the store for some beer. There we met a girl that was eager to buy "Red Bull". Then we headed back. Chauple's father did arrive with Chauple's monitor and we could start working on our demo. After a while Optic came, Skjeggespir and Ludde did also show up, but left shortly after. The rest of the day ended up with several trips down at Rimi (a store), or talking in the phone with various sceners we was supposed to ask to come down at the party. The guys in Ephidrena from Gjerdrum (Cheetah and Stoney) was  in fact offered to be picked up by car (when the orgainzers started to get DESPERATE), but after 45 minutes on the phone Cheetah said NO (MORONS ;) Some drinking there was as well. After some beer's the depression did lift a bit but not much. Later that evning five guys from Contraz arrived; Phlaton, Brekke, Whisper, Dran and Zelow. They did stay until late night, and three of them did come back next day. Great work guys! Sometime that night the network was fired up too. Then there was A LOT (a bit) IRC. Optic, Gainx and I started a beer/vine agreement over IRC. This went so good that we ended up in the kindergarden (in a hut) with a bottle of vine that was consumed there with good help of "Turbo-Urge" (warm Urge (soda ;) with Finlandia vodka). This was nearly enough for me to HIT THE ROOF, but something still missed kind of. When we went back to the hall, I was so tired that I just collapsed! (eh, went to sleep :)  Sunday:  "I hate Wiseguy and Speed Devil" - Amico  Sunday I wake up late, about 11:30. I crawled out of a sleeping bag I had borrowed... Then I went on IRC and found out that Amico was going to head down at the party. We decided to pick him up at the subway. We so did, and Amico arrived with "Amiga Posten" :) But he didn't want to pay the enterance fee, so we chased him away :) Then Nogsf and I took the subway down to the city to buy some elephant beer of Frosty. We did use the same car as Amico, that at the time did badmouth Wiseguy and Speed Devil a lot, but thought Soda was on hell of a bloke (Soda looks like you got a fan in Amico) We got our beer's cold, but silly us we didn't drink them before they was warm. <gross!>. That night the compo's was held, and we had the only contribution for the amiga demo (strange). Of course, we won :) Then I slept a bit more.  Monday:  The clock was about half nine and everything was finished for my part. The price ceremony(!) had been and I just went HOME... (E.T wanna go home) Conclusion: Tooooo little people, even it was in the mid exam'period, it would have been more people that could have come. Shape up folks, soon there is nothing left than HUGE commercial parties.....shit!!!!
