2. Randomize bringt »neuen« AMIGA auf den Markt

Das kanadische AMIGA-Unternehmen Randomize hat einen neuen AMIGA-Clone namens »Genesis Alpha« angekündigt. Aber: Was auf den ersten Blick vielleicht noch wie ein neues Modell aussieht, entpuppt sich bei genauerer Betrachtung als ein A1200 im Towergehäuse, mit Ateo-Buserweiterung, Pixel64-Grafikkarte, 68060-Turbokarte und einigen Extras. Nichts also, was man als sensationell bezeichnen könnte. Auch der angepeilte Verkaufspreis ist nicht gerade als günstig zu bezeichnen: Knapp 1800 US-Dollar (etwa 3200 Mark) will Randomize für ein System haben, das mit folgenden Details (aber weder mit ZorroIII- noch ZorroII-Slots) aufwartet:
