"Powered by AMIGA" License For MicroniK
Scandoubler
MicroniK Computer Service from Leverkusen, Germany, is licensed by AMIGA
International, Inc. to sell own Scandoublers
under the "Powered by AMIGA" logo.
MicroniK was one of the first companies to produce so called "Scandoublers" which
enable AMIGAs to be connected
to standard PC monitors.
For the moment, the licence ist exclusively given to MicroniK until June 30th,
1998.
"It is important that we explore an open AMIGA platform, use industry standard
components to make it cheaper to produce, faster to develop and easier to
upgrade", said Petro Tyschtschenko, Managing Director AMIGA International, Inc.
and responsible for worldwide Sales and Marketing.
