Some of the bugs in the preview version of YAM 2.0 have been fixed. More news will be coming on YAM 2.0 as soon as I get it.
The latest survey at the CU-Amiga web site, will no doubt be of interest to many Amiga owners as it asks you what direction the Amiga should go in. So go and fill it in.
On 4th March, Quake was sent to Id for final approval.
Labmda just seems to be getting better and better. Although I don't have anymore news on actual game details I do have some new screenshots which are the best looking yet.

The engine is still being work on, I will bring you updated news on the actual
game itself as soon as I have it.
Statistics are back, we are still ranked 7th overall, but 6th daily and gaining on the Windows team. If you joined ranks during DES II but didn't attribute your blocks to the team yet, now is the time.
The Quake slogan is "Amiga survived....You won't".
The long awaited and very much delayed Genetic Species will be with us soon. The game is now 99.9% complete, all that remains to be added is some last minute sound effects and support for 17 different languages. Recently, the 300Mb intro animation for the game was completed, this is said to be the best 3D animation ever seen on the Amiga. Vulcan are confident that the game will acheive it projected mid March release.
Well I have recently heard news that a PPC version of the game will be written. Actual features of this are yet to be confirmed, however, I have heard that is will contain raytraced full screen 256 colour (Maybe HAM8) graphics and real time animated background. More info on this when I get it...

You may remember this as a game that was going to be released by Vulcan quite a while ago, well, it is still to see the light of day. The game will now be released on a multi-format CD-ROM containing AGA Amiga, Windows 95, Lunix and MSDOS versions. The programmers are still looking for a buyer for this package, any interested publishers out there?
