De-Archiveur  is  a  Graphical  User  Interface that allows to control
archivers like LHA, LZH, LZX, ZIP,DMS,UNARJ,UNRAR.

De-Archiveur  can  extract  a  archive that mean you can add,substract
decrunch,  delete  one or more files and also read, see or play a file
with your usual programs.

De-Archiveur can convert an archive in LHA, LZX or ZIP with an original
in LHA,LZH,LZX,ZIP,UNARJ,UNRAR.

De-Archiveur  is  a  specialy developped program that enable, even the
novice, user to pack, unpack program or extract, convert archive using
most  of  the  various  archivers  around,  without  needing  to learn
multitude of commands.

De-Archiveur  is  a  program  written  in BlitzBasic that use specific
instructions  of  the  kickstart  3.0.   De-Archiveur  work  only with
Kickstart 3.0 or superior.

This  program  use the brilliant Reqtools.library by Nico François and
Magnus Holmgren in your drawer @{b}LIBS:@{ub} of your system.

The installer is necessary for using the install script.

This  program  was written in a A1200 with 030/42 and 8mb and a A1200 with
030/50  and  16  mb of fast.  This program work in different configuration
such as:

-A1200 with 2mb of chip.
-A1200 with 030 and 882/50 and 22mb of fast.
-A4000 with A3640 33mhz and 16 mb fast with CV64/3D.

Nightlight  Team is a group of users fanatic for AMIGA and making some
programs.   We have realised somes games before.  More precision about
theses are available in the chapter @{"others products" LINK autresproductions}.

De-Archiveur  is  our first utility and our first use of BlitzBasic.
This  program  allows  us  to  discover the system programming and the
power of the BlitzBasic.

Thanks to @{b}ORION Diffusion@{ub} for having translated the BlitzBasic
2.1 in french.  This very light translation allows us to try the world
of the BlitzBasic programming.

@{b}For a good start@{ub}

The  first  time,  it's  necessary  to configure De-Archiveur with the
Workbench  menu icon->information for the fonts to use, Where you want
the  place  of  the  Appicon  of  De-Archiveur,  the coordinate of the
window, the hotkey and popkey, ....and the normal path of your usual
programs with the @{" Preferences globales " LINK preference3} of De-Archiveur
or when you use De-Archiveur for the first time.

After, launch it whith double-clicking in his icon.  A window with all
the  possibility of De-Archiveur appared.  You MUST configure the path
of each archiveurs you have, the drawer for the documentations....

You  can  iconify De-Archiveur with the gadget in the left high of the
principal window.  Double-click in the Appicon show you again the GUI.

De-Archiveur is a commodity and is completely checked with Exchange or
similar  clone  of  the  workbench  (like CX).  Exchange allows you to
switch off, quitting, show GUI of De-Archiveur, etc....

In an Appicon form, De-Archiveur allows you to pack or unpack directly
with  dropping  the  archive or the drawer you want and enter the name
you want with the prefix of the archiver you neeed.

AUTO:

Allow  De-Archiveur  to  choose  atomatically the archiver you need or
select the archivers you use the most often.

SETTINGS:

Give an access to the config window of De-Archiveur.

keyboard shortcut: AMIGA + S

UNPACK:

Unpack  one  or  more  file  with  a file-requester in the drawer you have
choosen   in  the  prefs  window.   If  the  box  'Valid  requester  -path
destination'  is  choosen,  you  can  choose  the  target  you want before
unpacking.

keyboard shortcut: AMIGA + U

PACK:

Pack  one  or more file and before De-Archiveur ask you which name it must
use  for the archive (a default name is also possible).  If the box 'Valid
requester  -  path  destination' is choosen, you can choose the target you
want before packing.

keyboard shortcut: AMIGA + P

EXTRACT:

After loading an archive, all the files appared in a window. Some gadgets
at the buttom of the window allows you to crunch or decrunch or add, delete
one or more files and also read, listen or see one or more files.

CONVERT:

Convert an archive LHA,LZH,LZX,ZIP,UNARJ,UNRAR in LHA,LZX or ZIP.

TEST:

Test the integrity of an archive.

ABOUT:

The  about  requester show you informations about De-Archiveur and his
authors.

ICONIFY:

This option and the gadget at the high left of the principal window
give you the possibility to iconify the program. After, you can directly
put the icon of the archive and a requester gave you different choice.

DOC:

This  documentation  is  available  directly  in De-Archiveur.  Simply
click  in  the  doc  button  and  have the good path of the Amigaguide
Documentation in the pref.

text viewers.

PLAY A MODULE:

After using the setting file, you can play a module with your prefered
player of modules.

VIEW PICTURE:

After using the setting file, you can see pictures with your prefered
picture viewers.

LOAD:

Load an archive.

CANCEL:

Back to the main window.

SETTINGS:

With  this  button,  you  can  choose  the archiver you want to change
parameters available with De-Archiver.

PATH SOURCE:

The path you habitually use where your archived programs are stocking.

CMD-PACKER:

Commands necessary for packing an archive.   

PATH DESTINATION:

The path you habitually use to stocking your archived programs.

CMD UNPACKER:

Commands necessary for unpacking an archive.

USE PACKER:

The path where your packers are.

CMD-TEST:

Commands necessary for testing or listing an archive.

USE UNPACKER:

The path where your unpackers are (for example unzip).

CMD-SHELL:

Commands necessary for creating a shell window.

ex: Newcli window con:0/11/640/100/De-Archiveur/close.

CLOSE SHELL:

You  can  choose  the time you want to see the shell window containing
the   informations  of  the  archive  after  a  packing  or  unpacking
operation.

It's impossible to quit the window before the time.

Don't put a too long time.

DMS METHOD:

You can choose the method you want to use DMS.

PATH DESTINATION:

You can have a requester for choosing a particular destination with this
option or often the same destination when using the general settings.
(Default:RAM)

SAVE SETTINGS:

Save settings.

USE:

Only use the new settings.

QUIT:

Quit the program.

METHOD LZX:

Choose the efficiency you want when using LZX to convert an archive.
(Default: -2 ).  4 possibility are available:

(-1): Fast
(-2): Defaut
(-3): More
(-9): Best. Only with the registered version of LZX.

SAVE SETTINGS:

Save all the settings of De-Archiveur.

DELETE ORIGINAL ARCHIVE:

Allow you to choose if you want to keep the original archive after
converting it with a new packer.

USE:

Use the settings untill you quit the program.
