These scripts are designed to be used with Terminus (c) John P. Radigan and Trade Wars 2.0 (c) Gary & Mary Ann Martin. The Guru Files (c) 1993. Copyrighted By John Warfin. There is no charge for these files, distribute freely. No one shall make any profit from any sale of these files. Read the Install docs for information on setting these up. For the most part if you have the assign to your data directory ( twdata: ) you can run the scripts. If you don't want to set up the scripts the way the install docs says then you will have to at least make sure to change the paths in Terminus to point where they should. The two path names that are most important are scripts (should point to either the guru1 or guru2 directory) and the captures (should point to twdata:) If you set up the scripts the way the install docs suggests these paths will be altered automatically. If you do not make the "TWdata:" assign the scripts "-=>E-Prober<=-" and "-=>Find-SGA<=-" will not work. this is the one Critical Assign, so make it. The database looks in the "TWdata:" directory for all files, so you want the scripts to write the files where the database can find them. The script "-=>Grab-Info<=-" uses the capture to collect data, so if the Capture Path is not set either by you; or by using the macro "TW:Tw-2.0.def" then your files will be saved to wherever your capture path is pointing! These scripts have been updated. They all have been polished and there are some completely new scripts. The E-Prober is now relentless when looking for an enemy. The Sell-Steal routines have a jettison routine now. There is now a Planet Trader and a Find SGA! Look at the scripts to see what they do. All scripts have more auto-config than the last batch. The scripts that use turns now figure out how many times you can run them and give you a default that will leave you with 40 turns to play with. The scripts also tell you the maximum number of times they can be run, and won't let you enter a higher number. The scripts that trade now auto-enter the first sector number for you. I have set up my macro file for TW-2.0 like this: Alt + F1 = "!&-=>Grab-Info<=-" ;This grabs all important info Alt + F2 = "!&-=>Trading<=-" ;Trades the Pairs Alt + F3 = "!&-=>Trading-T-Warp<=-" ;For when Pairs are drained Alt + F4 = "!&-=>Sell-Steal-Move<=-" ;Just in-case Bug is removed Alt + F5 = "!&-=>Sell-Steal-Move-5<=-" ;Just in-case Bug is removed Alt + F6 = "!&-=>Buy-Stock<=-" ;Drain a port of all product Alt + F7 = "!&-=>T-Warp-Colonizer<=-" ;Move People in a hurry! Alt + F8 = "!&-=>Planet-Trading<=-" ;Use the planet to make $$$ Alt + F9 = "!&-=>Planet-Transfer<=-" ;Moves stuff between planets Alt + F10 = "!&-=>Find-SGA<=-" ;Not Possible But here it is! Ctrl + F1 = "!&-=>E-Prober<=-" ;Shoots probes in a hurry! Ctrl + F2 = "!&-=>Triple-Trading<=-" ;Triple Trader (makes points) Ctrl + F3 = "!&-=>Sell-Steal-T-Warp<=-" ;Sell-Steal with T-Warp Twist Ctrl + F4 = "!&-=>Sell-Steal-Transport<=-" ;This does SST for 2 points Ctrl + F5 = "!&-=>Sell-Steal-Transport-5<=-" ;This does SST for 5 points Ctrl + F6 = "!&-=>Shielding<=-" ;Shields Planet Ctrl + F7 = "!&-=>Holds-Cost<=-" ;Estimates Holds Cost Ctrl + F8 = "!&-=>Mega-Jetison<=-" ;Jettisons Product for Exp Ctrl + F9 = "!&-=>Damn-Trader<=-" ;Cuss the trader for Neg. Algn. Ctrl + F10 = "!&TW:TW-1.03d.def" ;Switch to Guru for 1.03d The scripts all have some instructions written inside them so read each one to find out how they work. They will work with the ansi on or off. These scripts are written in the Terminus scripting language so they do not require ARexx! I am running these scripts on an Amiga 2500 with workbench 1.3 and they have been tested on an Amiga 500 with workbench 2.0. Both Computers have 3 megs or more, so I don't know if they will work on all Amiga's but I see no reason why they shouldn't. Please feel free to send these scripts to every Amiga owner you know! I feel that these scripts are quite powerful (compared to nothing) and should improve your game quite a bit, so please share. Remember you wouldn't have these scripts if I didn't share them with you. John Warfin ,^) aka Filet-O-Fish Demonic Scourge of the Universe p.s. You can edit the file "TW-2.0.def" in the "TW:" directory to change your 2.0 macros around. That is, if you set them up the recommended way.
